The intersection is Huron Church Road (HWY401 turns into Tallbot, Talbot turns into Huron Church.) and Pulford Street. There is a Best Western with a Golden Griddle directly across the street. The Timmies is on the right side. It can't be missed, but if you do, well god help us all.

Joe, I have the money for the cabin, but I would prefer to give it to you when we all meet up in Windsor. If I transfer it from my account theres a chance some other bill might come out and use it up. If this is a problem let me know.

Dam you and your mega powered Pressure Washer. I just re-straightened my FMIC fins from that bad boy! Not to mention it blew the gram light stickers right off the rims!

Remind me to give it another kick next time I see it..............

Classicauto,

For some reason I was going to show up on the 9th. On the other forum I noticed you said 10th. I thought we were leaving on the 9th. DUH.

Awesome Joe, thanks. I just bought the two 45 degree -8 AN fittings (****** expensive bastards eh?) I needed to remount my FMOC properly. Hopefully I can get that done and finish wiring/mounting the new carter fuel pump this weekend. Gotta dig out the snow thats still lying around the car. Everyone cross your fingers and pray that my Sterling shows up in time.

What time were you thinking of leaving? I can leave around 5 PM on Thursday (Must work). That way we can get 4-5 hours before we take our "Beauty" sleep.

Larry, as you can see, most people are leaving Michigan around 9:00 PM. I'm trying to see if some would like to leave a few hours earlier. That way when Friday morning rears it's ugly head we can get up early and meet ya'll at the rest area S. of Cinn.
What time we're you thinking? I'd like to get to Deal's Gap around 2. Or before.

I think the problem is waiting for the northern guys to get down here. For people north of T.O. they have about 2.5-3 hours easily before they even reach our meeting place in Canada. So if they're done work at 4-5ish it won't be feasible for us to leave as a group until 7-8 from there.

I'd leave thursday morning since I'm not technically working, but I'd like to wait for everyone up here. I'm OK with getting there whenever we get there on Friday, this is partially a vacation for me, so time pressure isn't on my list of priorities lol

I'm still leaving with the main canadian group. Its just when I first mentioned going to the DGRR I suggested leaving thursday morning. BUt due to some peoples work schedules and traveling throught toronto it was more easier for us to leave late thursday.

Not sure if we will get to meet with a few other caravans but that would be nice. We just have to play it by ear. I will not have a cell phone with me (Don't own one) so the communication will have to be arranged with others.

Today I am cleaning the old FC to get it ready for the cruise down. (Gonna be cold washing it outside. Can't wait. Snow better melt. I still have a 5 ft snow bank all the way down my driveway!!

Dam! I saw a few snowflakes as I was washing my car. If only to get a good coat of wax I guess. Since it looks like it may be a dirty drive down. Hate to drive the car is this.

Man I can barely feel my fingers. 0C is still not a good temp to wash. My wash bucket had ice on the edges by the time I was done.

Boo to the weather........

Good think is florida has to be warm How much time off do you have. I don't have to go to work till the next tuesday!!!

We're going to do the Skyway on Sunday (Nice easy fast fun drive) and come part way home on Sunday evening and then the rest on Monday. Anyone want to "tag along"?

You're right....I'm retarded. I need to pay attention to whom posts what.

The g/f's birthday is on the 20th, so I'd like to be back for that. Although, she's debating whether she might fly into FT. Lauderdale and meet me for the drive back (has to finish school when I leave, so she can't do the whole thing) in which case, I could be away for longer.

But I figure I'll be back sunday/monday ish (lol, I've "ish'ed" alot of things in my life, but never a two day span! Feels awesome haha) Leaves a decent amount of time for our tour. If we left the gap on sunday, we can be in FL by sunday night pretty much, and to the Keys on monday (14th) if we trucked it. So we'll have a few days in the heat
