You are talkin about the header and exhaust on that car I take it? Would that be better then my 2 1/4 straight back to very nice muffler setup? I was thinkin just grab the header and get a Exhaust shop to install it with my current setup...

thats also why I want someone to check out my car... I need some advise on a few things.. and I'm sure you'll be able to help me out..

So I got the new windsheild installed and got an inspection done today... I failed... but I got my insurance n registration transferred, so I have 30 days to fix up the car and get a inspection done.
According to Kal-Tire's mechanic: I need all new front bushings, new rotor's all around(because they are "rusty") if they needed changing I would have changed them when I did the new Calipers...same with the brake hoses/lines they said need replacing, I would have replaced them if they were fucked....they looked fine to me when i did the brakes... tie rods, idler arm & sway bar link kit... **** thats like another $500.... Oh and wheel bearings!! I took her out for like an hours drive and the pass front bearing was starting to squeal, like a schoolbus... Are wheels bearings cheap for these? I mine as well do them all when i replace the rotors, an i mine as well paint the rear calibers also while i have it all apart... bah... just wanna drive it....It goes alright, but i think i need someone to help me tune the carb....

I know a guy that will "Pass" it if your desperate. I donno if he still does it.

New wheel bearings arn't expensive, but the front rotors are the whole hub. So to replace the front rotors, you pretty much do everything. I think they are about $70 a peice on the front.

New ball joints can only come on new lower control arms. The front bushings arn't hard to change, they just take alot of time, then of course you need an alignment.

yeah... not exactly lookin forward to doing all this work myself, cuz i dont wanna get raped from a shop.... Now! last night we were leaving the casino and i was shifting into 2nd gear, and it grabbed real good, then i stopped at the sign... and it wouldn't go into gear, even with the clutch in.... so i shut her off, started it in gear and went rattin around the parking lot for like 5 min and it all started to work fine again (with some noise when i downshift into 2nd or 1st...) what would cause this? i know if the clutch was gone it would go into gear and not move... but instead i could push in the clutch and it wouldn't go into gear.. simple fix?? like air in the clutch line? or bad tranny fluid(it is pretty rough) Do i need a new trans????? help please, asap! i dont want it to die on me...

And yeah I know I probably shouldn't have taken it to kal-tire... But I used to work there, and they didn't charge me for the insurance inspection, then again the mechanic is a cheap ****! The car is insured n registered, just have 30 days to pass inspection, i know alot of the bushings are pretty fucked, and i can hear the pass side wheel bearing(grease looks nice n new tho... hmm)
Is anyone avaliable tomorrow to meet up and take a look at my car? I have a few questions to ask also.... Common you guys must be the rotary gods or something...... great stuff..

Wow, well apparently my oil injection lines going to the carburators were cracked in half, both of them, looks like the previous owner used silicon hose to connect the ends, but the hose was too big and the oil has been leaking the whole time!! good thing I saw that ****!!! so i found proper size hose & did it right!, runs way better! fires up much nicer & and a smoother ride, and my motor doesn't want to shoot me anymore, lol... Just gotta fix my exhaust leak( rusting thru @ the connecting pipe) & changing my transmission fluid today, hopefully my tranny quiets down a bit with some fresh lube... Not sure if i'll be selling it, but if I got some offers then possibly...
