If you get some block off plates, we can do the emmissions removal. Its super easy and definately worth it.

thats good or bad. If you have a Cat, that can be bad, if you dont, you can eliminate the airpump all together.

Cool, there is no cat... Just 2 1/2" pipe all the way back to the muffler... Put a new alternator in yesturday, runs excellent... all the guage lights went off except the "exhaust overheat" lol... While waiting for my front caliber rebuild kits that were on order taking forever I ordered new front calibers from napa and they arrived in an hour!! so I bought a caliber paint kit and they are now a very nice red, I did two coats and they look amazing! once I get rims I wont have to worry about the ugly brakes behind! cuz they are now beautiful!! Havent put them on yet... doing that today... and going for my first test drive after I bleed the system..... Anyone avaliable in calgary today to come check it out and maybe take a look at my vaccum/carb system???

And I also purchased rear brake caliber rebuild kits, don't exactly feel like doing that today...8-) plus I'd have to paint them when I was finished the rebuild.... too much work for me today, took awhile to paint the fronts, and they were brand new.. lol, that shiat is for another evening this week... or eventually...

I have been taking photos since I purchased the car... Have around 50 at the moment, I like to keep up to date with how my projects are going... Keeps me motivated, and I post it all on facebook so my buddies back home can check out what exactly I am doing.... I'll try to get some photos up where you guys can take a look...

YOU CAN ATTACH PICS AS LONG AS THEY ARE JPEG AND 250KB OR SMALLER, JUST GO "ADVANCED" AND USE "MANAGE ATTACHMENTS". Oooops, sorry about the caps. What color is the car? I am on holidays this week and will be doing a steering box swap and an engine install. Let me know when you're free. Gary

Question

Accually I have tomorrow off work.. nothing planned yet, pm me about that...
So I got the calibers on and bled the brakes, the system works great, think I need some work on the rear brakes to do, but the front are wicked...
Carb/work may need some adjusting, got some pep tho... not insured yet(was bootin around the shop parking lot..)
I bought a haynes manual, and how usless is that? I dont have a fuse box cover, and I wanna know what fuses are for what... In the book is a totally different fuse box....the old glass fuses n ****.. like wtf? haha So if someone could help me out with that... would be cool... And my headlights are fucked, they'll come up sometimes when I hit the headlight motor switch(the one just to pop them up with no lights) and when I turn the headlight switch on the steering column.. the marker lights n all that will come on but the headlights wont pop up or will the lights come on, the strange thing is.. when I first got in the car they both worked fine... I'm stumped on that one help me.... fuse? relay? switch?

And if this works, I'll post a bunch of photos....

Its a little brown box right near the battery (the little battery cable goes to it). Should have 3 (or so) wires kinda looped in it. They are worthless and usually dont work very well. If I recall you can jam a 2nd gen fuse in there.

If you can get a 2nd Gen Fuse block and fuses, I have a mount availiable I can sell you for a nice clean install.

Cool, so just pull the wires out n slap in a fuse or what? or replace the whole box? will this completely solve the whole headlight problem..?

Most people replace the fuseable links with whatever they can find. Wire and connections, fuses, insects. Doesnt really matter.

Replacing the whole setup with a 2nd gen block just looks better, and is easier for expansion, like if you install a stereo or some such because theres more than 3 slots.

I really need someone to just check my car out n let me know whats goin on... haha And can Anyone tell me how to find an 82 rx7 fuse box cover layout or diagram?? cant find it anywhere...

Thumbs up

Well I checked the looped wires and they were all frayed n crappy looking, so I simply moved one a quarter inch over and my headlights popped up, ****** eh buddy!! I owe ya... haha So I replaced all the loop wires and its all good.. just need to replace my wiper/signal light switch and get 1 rim&tire and i'll be good to go, hopefully find both of those at pick n pull tomorrow, if i get time... and a minor exhaust leak to fix... right at the dowpipe, needs a new gasket...

p.s. I would love to take a look at your fuse box cover if you can find it

They usually only fail it if its cracked in front of the driver and higher than the wiper blade. So basically, in direct line of vision.

You can get a new windsheild for around $160 so no, its not expensive.

What year was that FB at PnP?
