Knowledge on mods would be helpfull

Hey Guys. I purchased a Right Hand Drive 90 RX-7 GT-R. So it came with an open diff, auto tranny, no sun roof. I'm starting to mod it. And i know what im doing somewhat. I'm just looking for further insight and possible ideas and knowledge if im going in the wrong dirrection. I want to get the most power outta the stock turbo and ports as possible.

So for mods the car has as follows:

ARC Top Mount
K&N Cone Intake
HKS BOV
Apexi N1 cat back
KnightSport FBCD
GAB Coilovers
Mazdaspeed Strut Bar
Infini passenger seat and a Bride driver seat

This week a 5 spd is being swapped in also matched up with a new clutch, ACT Streetlite flywheel (12.5 lbs), and a limited slip diff.

Now for the more power mods i want to do a full 3" down pipe to my cat back but removed the cats and install a resanator cause i dont want this thing to sound like a weed waker even though the turbo does quiet it down some what. But before that im thinking i should install a walboro 255lph intake fuel pump. Also when i do the exhaust the airpump is getting yanked. The a/c is almost totaly yanked i just gotta pull the coil condensor coil out.

SO the exhaust and the fuel pump are there. What should i use for tuning. I hate to say it but how bad would it be to use an SAFC-II? Would the need for an bigger injectors like 720's be a good idea also?

On a side note. The car was boosting 10psi before i put the Fuel Cut Defender in and it wasn't hitting fuel cut. I take it my ecu might be chipped or am i just really really lucky i didn't blow anything up?

I have been looking into the RTek 1.7 (you need 720 injectors on the secondaries) which will not require a SAFC. I have heard nothing except excellent reviews about this product. Here is a link to the website

A SAFC is still an excellent adition to the 1.7, it allows you to adjust fuel on a limited scale, but the RTec won't do that.

Yah. See i would really like to get a Rtek1.7 but its only for the S4's and i have an S5. And i know the ARC TMIC is useless, it came installed on the car when i got it. Small advantages for such a pricey product. Damn you Heat Soak. DAMN YOU!

IMO if you are just using stock turbo and whatnot 10 psi should be as high as u take it on a regular basis .. u dont want to spin a bearing or bend a shaft ... and as far as exhaust racing beat claims a 59 hp increase with their 3" downpipe .. id check it out and a 255 lph fuel pump might over load your fpr (fuel pressure regulator) i would recomend replacing it with an after market fmu if you are going that rout .. and as far as the bigger injectors again if you are running stock turbo that will be to much fuel and you will run way to rich if u remain within the injectors effiency psi level ... but yeah thats just my 2 cents

Well on my last rx7. I i was running the full 3" turbo back racing beat exhaust, intake, Racing Beat FCD and when i dynoed i was hitting 12.5psi and 232rwhp and 219rwtq with boost leaks but the a/f was 13.5. Way too lean in my opinion. SO i threw in the walboro 255 and ran that for a year with no problems. So i dunno if thats gonna be too much fuel.
