ON FC Porting

So here is my problem, i've got my engine all disassembled and ready to put back together and I want to do a street port. I really don't trust myself to do it (no self confidence lol) and none of the shops in ontario seem to do any porting without rebuilding the engine at their shop. So long story short I am looking for an experienced builder/ porter to help me out with this and get my engine ported so I can put it back together.

Edit: for reference it is an 88 N/A

Contact the guys at Rotary Dynamics. www.rotarydynamics.ca. I have yet to hear a bad thing about them, which is why they're currently building my engine. I'm sure they'd be happy to port your parts for you.

Both of the companies mentioned are great shops.

I would just assemble it but i'd like to have a little more power out of the N/A, without going for a whole TII swap. Porting just easier than a TII swap and is better for my budget that's all. That's why I am rebuilding the engine myself and not getting one of the shops mentioned to rebuild it for me.

Joe on the board (user name R.P.M.) does amazing port work. He ported the irons on my S4 TII, I'm sure he wouldn't mind doing it.

i would but then i have to go through the trouble of getting a TII engine or the complications/fabrication of making a 6 port turbo.

i have most of the stuff to do an engine swap like harness and ecu etc but with my n/a engine already disassembled, i really don't feel like having to do more work at the moment. I'd rather have a running 7 for the summer.

There is next no fabrication to do it, and it cost me next to nothing to do it lol

pulled hard enough to stomp on a new evo lol

i think i may actually do this. My brother has a spare s4 turbo, UIM, LIM and exhaust manifold (he's upgrading to BNR stage 4, megasquirt etc)
so he's got a TII ecu and harness i can use as well.

Just remember N/A turbo's need safer tuning due to higher compression
