Nice work with the camera!
I would like to congratulate everyone on Summer of 2006's 'Rotary Enthusiast BBQ'. It was another successful outing. No after dinner cruise was required because it was a nice drive in and out of town.
The Next BBQ is just around the bend! Im thinking September. Mazda in the mountains should be (if its going this year) in August sometime.

speaking of MITM, funkybudda isn't planning anything this year, i'd be all for planning but i don't have any wheels to go find a nice spot. nor did i make it to last yaer's so i don't know about a repeat meet. anyone wanna start up with idea's?

Guys, guys. You can stop asking me for 'the password'. I've gotten enough pm'ss.
It's in the works I just haven't thusfar had enough time to upload all the pictures / videos or setup access rights for anyone else to. But to show that I have put something up here is the link.... I'll make a thread when the gallery is actually done and up.

thanks to our host, aviator, for the nice place to hang. sorry i didnt say goodbye to most. i was really interested to see that twisty hi-way. in the end it was a waste of time. too much traffic. i dont even think i broke 100km/h
cept for the catch up bit where paul(gold rx7) and I hit 180. oh well, had a good time at the meet though. time to rip the intake apart and find my nasty vac leak!

Thats what i thought as well nubian - the twisties would have been better without all thoes cars and that guy with the horse trailer...also that ambulance made us go into the shoulder - dont know about u guys but I kicked up a few rocks and I hate thoes rumble strips!!!! - the car was hurting will all the cruising at hot speeds so I had to clear the carbon buildup - only one part where we could do that
anyways nice to be cruising with other rx's - nice to hear the same exhaust notes!!!
lets do it again!!

Theres not enough dedication to have an RX-7 club in calgary. There would be like maybe 5 out of 50 members showing up each sunday for the usual weekly coffee and meet. People wouldn't have the gas money to cruise, and track days would be a bust for the first couple of years.
Running a car club is ALOT of work. I say this because I been in the miata club for awhile. And those guys are 'well off' Middle aged men and woman who have the time to put into a club of 55 cars.
