I have to agree with Soloracer951 on his comments about ed's car. I too hope Ed leaves that sweet virgin unmolested as I have a lot of respect for it. If my SE had been that pristine with original paint and all I too would have kept it original as well.

well i seem to have my 7 runnin, at least for the time being (seems to run on a timer more so then gas). provided it still is by the big 25 ill cart muh bad self out there to say hey. Ill bring some sort of edible an my lil gold rex. Lookin forward to meetin y'all an pickin ur brains (where applicable:P)

 

looking forward to this meet, as I previously stated I have 4 chairs and weiners but is anyone bringing buns or hamburgers, I can bring hot dog buns as well if no one else is volunteering for it, I dont mind. Oh and If people want to meet up in calgary before going down to Black diamond let me know.

Depending on where everyone is meeting up, I might be inclined to be part of a convoy from Calgary. I'm in the SW, so I'm likely to head towards Bragg Creek. (Excellent drive, by the way)

 

thats a pretty good idea, a convoy of 7s driving around lost would make it look more like a"tour" then like we dont know where we are goin

i am shure i can get a big suv and have no problem bringing the regular bbq as well. my rx7 is in pieces so i wont be able to drive it if i want, i will bring the bbq( unless someone else wants to) as well enough propane( 2 20lbs bottles should be fine hey?) as well as a coulpe camping chairs. i live in the far nw of the city and have to drive from on conor to the opposite so if anyone needs a ride i could pick them up if you were even close to being on the way( by on the way i meen not in the far north east as that is out of the way) how does that sound guys?
i am looking forward to this meet as it is my first meet with this rx7 group and cant wait to see a few running rx7

 

I think the convoy could be fun and obviously I am in, oh and we shouldnt get lost I do have a Nav unit in my RX so as long as I have the address I should be ok (hopefully it is not a new development some are not on my nav) I live in the far NW so we should find a place up here to start the meet then move to the e and then south. just let me know. Oh and do we have anyone bringing buns or do i need to grab some hotdog buns when i pic up the weiners.

You guys should meet up at West Hills somewhere, then take HWY 8 west of town.
Then from Bragg Creek take the 'back road' to Millarville. It's a fun drive. Then to Turner Valley and then Black Diamond is right there.

 

I guess I'm in. I fear the convoy will be travelling a little slow but hey, it's different experience. Unless you guys wanna get the Gumball 20 going!

 

I'm in on a convoy too.. Where would a guy from Red Deer want to meet up with you guys that would be the easiest? Better bring the video cam too!

 

For all the NorthEasterners (which I am) we could meet up at Silver City or something (or Walmart off 64th) and then continue from there to Westhills, meet up with everyone else and head out Hwy 8. From Red Deer you could do that RotorHP.

 

Im going to volunteer myself to film as much as I can. Im not really good for anything else.

 

i'll meet up with any of you guys down south, i dont know where i'm going so that would be best for me, i'm under the impression that heading south on mcleaud is the way to black diamond and such....

 

McLeod Trail is certainly an option, but highway 8 to Bragg Creek, Priddis, Millarville, Turner Valley then Black Diamond is a better drive. Go to mapquest.ca and type in Black Diamond to see a map of the route.

 

hahaha, i dont mind which way we go, but if you see me starting to fade in your rear view, your either going too fast or my RX7 broke down....
