[QUOTE=Alak;7180129]Even at idle you can hear the difference in build quality.

It's really not a fair comparison. Both are purpose built engines, just different purposes. First engine was on a tight budget, second had all the best. Big $$ difference.....

Yes and no.

I built my first motor with used parts and you could hear the difference between it and other "professionally" built engines. Your right, parts have alot to do with it, but how there put together also plays a Major role. It is however interesting how you can hear the difference in a "tight" motor though isnt it?

Good luck with the meet tomorrow guys.

The meet was fun. Not a whole lot of people there but it was still a good time. I'll post up some pics later when I have the time.

haha really? Did you guys ever stop in black diamond, cause at round' 3 i was going to head there, but my buddy already went there cause he was stoked to see some 7's. He was there from 245-315. And said no one was there. i guess you guys were cruisin' still. So i didn't head down there in case the meet went sour or something.

We waited at west hills for a little bit for ya. I was hoping you were going to fix it than showup.

We were probably cruising around there. But yeah, we were in black diamond for a few hours.

The country cruise was awesome: You could not beat the smile Anthony had on his face when the flashing lights didn't turn around when he was going 170 the opposite direction. And, holy **** can FD's fly on the long haul, what machines!

id have kept on to westhills but it took me about 15 minits of hummin an hawin on how to get the exhaust to hang again.. the lil rubber donuts decided to give up. i coulda swore i had a coat hanger in there for such an occasion but it was a zillion degrees out an all i could find as a suitable fix was the power cord to my lil battery powered compressor (hence the hummin an hawin). adding to that the fact that it was scorching out, and the exhaust was none too frosty i didnt exactly do a macgyver quality job of it.. more like red greens retarded cousin brown.

all in all tho it was worth goin out just to hear the POP on the lil red FB (sorry i still havent a clue whos who an drives what so i gotta call ya the lil red FB guy) and to drool over the FD's.

can u sell blood in canada?

scrolling up im gonna guess it was 84stocks lil red FB that had me chucklin all the way home
