Wish I could be there - I'll be at an autoslalom doubleheader (Sat-Sun) in Edmonton. Max being there would be very cool - I'd like to see this PP FC.

Is there going to be time in there to stop by a grocery store to grab everything? or should we just show up with everything already with us?

Probably better to grab everything beforehand. Otherwise everyone has to go off mid-cruise to find what they're looking for, people end up falling out of the loop, and getting things back in synch is like herding cats.

Are you talking front rotors or rear (GSL) discs? I have both (used, and with the usual coat of rust) in the garage that you can have cheap if you want to pick them up before the meet.

Oh, is there any problems with bringing a buddy along? My buddy wants to come along with me. He's been with me on a couple of little trips and loves the car and wouldn't mind seeing some other RX-7's

I need rear rotors. I'll take em if you got em. Mine were so warped and worn, they are totally not useable.

Everyone is welcome. Last year, we accumulated a collection of skylines and silvias. We made them park on the other side of the street, save one that snuck in.

I'm really hoping to make it but its really going to be a tight one if i make it out. Im getting the engine timed and going tonight but having enough KM to break it in before Saturday night may be doubtful. we will have to see!

At Deerfoot we'll meet in the NE corner nears sportcheck and at Westhills we'll meet by the theatre.

Everything looks like it's coming together food and bev-wise, but we still need a volunteer for more burgers---- from someone who hasn't volunteered yet. Those who've indicated they are bringing stuff have already gone above and beyond the call.

I may be able to sneak a dozen out of the freezer. I'll probably be too hot to eat anyhow. Suposed to scortch tomorrow.

--------------

Should be out in my GSL. Caliper came loose today and the only thing holding it on was the wheel. Made a hell of a racket. Fixed it on the side of deerfoot with a bolt I found laying on the side of the road that meraculously fit (maybe it fell out of the car when I got out). Alls I had to fix it with was a 6" cresent wrench and a tiny pair of pliers (plus jack and breaker bar).

Silly me forgot the tool box in the Jeep.
