NY Wutlezz's FC Build Thread

Hey Guys I just purchased my 1990 FC GTU only draw back it does have a auto transmission so im in the works of gathering parts to do my swap i have all the parts except the pedals, slave, lines, clutch (which i found on CL for 140) need a pressure plate also the starter other than those MISC. parts i have everything else lol

so here are some piks of Roxy

My 1st Rx that i owned was a 84 FB 12a motor and then i wrapped it around a tree =[ sold that and purchased a 02 mazda protege 5 had that car for about 6 years, until my urge for the rotary came back and needed to get 1 or else i wasnt gonna be happy lol so i sold my protege and the same day she was gone i picked up my FC

but stay tuned for the build guys

future mods
-front lip most likely fro the s13 pignose
-turbo 5punds only
-wheels

if anyone has any leads to those parts im looking for i am from the Queens NY area and willing to buy them ASAP !!! its the only thing holding me back from getting the car on the road !!!!

By saying "turbo 5 pounds only", I'm guessing you plan on doing a six port turbo instead of the traditional complete turbo engine swap?

Nice Car, I just finished my 5-speed swap down here in DC. Make sure you buy the bolts & washers for your pressure plate (not mentioned in the archived thread) & have the right matching flywheel and clutch kit set up that will match your engine and transmission. If you can get a lightweight flywheel, so you don't have to remove the flywheel nut...... this was a B%^& to get on and off with hand tools. If I had a choice to do it again I'd buy a lightweight flywheel, but i found used parts in my area that worked great.

You should have checked rotary ressurections page on ebay. He sells full 5 speed swaps for fairly cheap. In fact all of the parts he sells are cheap.
