First wash along with shitty phone pictures! Got some shine back from the paint. Looks somewhat promising to be able to deal with the paint for now.

Looks great man! Is your aftermarket boost gauge mechanical? If so, how is the vacuum house routed through your firewall?

If I remember correctly, it goes through one of the holes the wire harness follows through. I'll check again tomorrow since I bought the car set up like that.

Thanks, I'm trying to figure out a setup. If you could take a picture I'd be appreciative.

And for Ma7daPOW3R: Just follow the blue hose in the photo. It actually goes through where the steering column is.

Also got my NEW sunroof mounted in and aligned. While I was at it, I washed my rear carpet and finally bought some new floor mats, nothing fancy but better than a rubber one and none. Lol.

Old sunroof...

New sunroof! Needs a wash and detail hence the water stains from wiping off old dust with just a wet rag.

Hey guys, um, I've been thinking of doing a cat delete. I'd like to know where my wastegate is so I could port it and not have boost creep when I do delete the cat. I'm keeping the stock mufflers and piping on for now, probably for a while until I bite the bullet and get a full exhaust. Thanks

You have to take the turbo off. The wastegate is internal.

Ah right. Thanks lol. The part where that metal flapper is, is what needs to be ported correct? Just refreshing my memory lol.

Not much of an update but I got my compression checked (not on a Mazda compression tester but a modified piston tester, valve mod) and read 70psi on both housings/rotors on the bottom plug hole and engine still warm. I guess it's okay for now since I don't plan on going any higher on boost or HP. Other than that, I have on the way a new slave cylinder for the clutch since I have a massive leak and need to refill the canister almost every day.

Well, the car is being traded away for something that won't hurt my wallet every week on gas. Not out of the rotary game just yet but I will get another one as soon as I can get another job. If you're wondering, the car I'm getting for it is a '95 subaru impreza with a 1.8t with a full wrx conversion on a greddy emanage system. Has a lot of goodies and is way better on fuel consumption. 'Til next time everyone.

I'll still keep my eye on these builds cause I just love what you all do with these machines.

In the works of selling the subaru you see above in the pics since I now have a job that pays lol and am ready to get another 7. Found a couple turbo 2's that I have my eyes set on. If you guys know anyone in South Fla that's interested in a 2 door gc8 impreza with a 1.8 on boost awd with a tonnnnn of goodies, let me know please. Thanks!

Oh, and here's a 2nd-4th pull... Was a pretty light pull. Only video I really had of it flexing some rotary muscle.

Skip to 6:10 for the action, the rest of the video I talked a lot.
