easier said than done... just the motor has 3 ECU's and then another for the tranni... you can always find those motors for cheap but as far as the wiring harness and the ecu's go.. look forward to spending i think ruffly $15000 for a proper build... thos motors are sick but it just sounds like a bitch to do

I had no time to take a decent video or any pictures of the car before the tow truck showed up.

Was unable to get the car on a lift over the weekend either. I should have some lift time by the weekend.

Its kinda funny following the tow truck and watching people turn to look at the car or do double takes. Some dude in a Honda did some serious hard staring as he went by.

I'm gonna probably sell the 20b. When the 2 rotor goes it will be getting something better than the 20b I think.

Slider as discussed previously in the thread 300.00 is the number for duplicating those FTP.s

www.oznium.com :

large spots 17.00 plus shipping each x 6 or 8
strip 20.00 each x 2
relays etc, labor.

to be honest I wouldnt even TOUCH doing them for 300.00 myself, I am considering juice doing mine at that price once/if he figures out the turn lighting, simply because of the bs involved, so if he will do them for you take him up on it

16x is the new mazda 2 rotor engine that will be in the next rotary powered vehicle.
http://www.mazda.com/mazdaspirit/rotary/16x/
No, I will probably not be using one of those.

Regarding the FTPs, yeah that would be about the right $ that would make actually doing these FTPs worthwhile to me. No one wants to pay that though. If I were to offer these I think I would rather wait till I can get them all setup in the car. Then I would offer them in a prewired setup if possible. I been thinking of not bothering with attaching the spotlights to the brights switch and just using a push button on-off switch mounted on the cluster in an easily accesible location. But that stuff is on the back burner at the moment.

Once I get the car running again I will be able to worry about that stuff. I've been promised that my car will be on a lift by friday night. So Saturday morning the *** busting shall begin!

Hey, that sounds awesome to me, I'd be willing to pay whatever it's worth to you to have something that custom on my car! I think your mod beats the crap outta Jspec ftps anytime, and if anyone doubts the quality/price of your work just refer them to anyone of us that's seen what you can do!

On a side note, Steve Kan broke my lighted shift **** on the dyno somehow, lol. It worked before it was strapped down but hasn't worked since. When I get a chance I'll remove it and see if it's anything obvious, otherwise I may need your most excellent services again

^Damn, really? Which one was it, the black one with the repaired wiring or the red one? I guess some vibrations might have knocked something loose inside, maybe broke a solder joint? If it is the black one, when you send it back to me include the stock wiring that you found and I'll repair the wiring with that while I fix the LEDs.

How much power did Steve make on the dyno with your car? I heard today that Gotham Racing is officially closed now.

Yeah, Steve mentioned that...he said he's starting his own shop with the same name as his website soon. He was also surprised to hear that Steve had left A-Spec, he's never heard of Ryan (whos map on my car was "all over the place").

It made 425whp on 110 leaded race gas. I'm pretty happy with that, especially with my smallish (3") dual exhaust, .84 hotside, and plumbed-in wastegate...it even feels much stronger just driving it around in vacuum compared to before

It's the black repaired ****. I'll send it to you with the original wiring if I don't find an obvious fixable problem with it, thanks!

Man talk about disappointing, this is literally the first time someone has told me something about a rotary I didnt already know, god being busy with work SUCKS, no time to read and crap lol, well if it isnt the 16 then what would it be ? eh ?

Also as a side note if someone wanted me to do their ftp's while mark is busy with his motor I would be glad to as long as the ftps that got sent were in good shape, no cracked rotted standoffs etc.

And yeah, *** bustin is the word I guess, has there not really been any prep you could do without a lift or work schedule in the way ?

Mills I only have a couple things to say about that:

1a. wrong place, there is a reason why the bad/good business thread exists it is SO people can know what occurs, both sides of the story, during business that goes on, people always know crap happens, its just part of life, but without both sides of the story which you have now effectively stopped from occuring BECAUSE you are crapping Marks build thread, nobody gets to know ?
Put it in the bad business area A. so it can get worked out B. so we can see both sides so that people can make decisions based on the information.

1b. wrong place, apologizing at the begining of a tirade like this does NOT allow/mean it should be done, mods should move that whole post or you should ask a mod to to the business area BECAUSE it has nothing to do with Marks car, lots of things have been discussed in this thread previous having nothing to do with Marks car but this by far surpasses the realm of reasonable in my opinion of a discussion that should be here.

2. Sorry to hear about the tuning problem(s) you had, in reference to my earlier statement you SHOULD post this in the business thread if nothing else but to possibly get closure with Sean/Ray whomever....
