One thing at a time man. Bushings are urethane. Thinking about going with some of these for the lower control arms though:

Yeah I need to change out those stock end links, and I will with some from Mazdatrix.

They were expensive. I got them through AutoRnD, Rishie has the best prices on the net.

Sig updated!

Those of you guys asking for an FTP write up.... I'll do one in the next few weeks. Maybe even a short video of how its done. But I warn you, you will laugh when you see just how easy it is.

y didnt you go for the classic endless blue, would have popped.

i had my doubts about this car, but that wheel shot, made my pants tight.

i still have my problems with the car

but the detail, and overall build quality leaves nothing to be desired, and everything to be imitated.

I didn't want blue. There are multiple color options to choose from with endless. Red, Gold, Black, Baby Blue, Blue, and Silver I think. But I don't really like a multicolored exterior appearance. I prefer adding stuff that matches, like this. It makes the extra goodies a little more subtle\stealth. Sure the calipers may not pop out at you at first glance, but thats the point, I go for the double take.

Just curious, but what problems do you have with the car?

Side note. A buddy of mine just picked up a mint 01 Porsche 911 turbo with mods of CAI & BOV putting down 430 AWHP. He wants to race me in the spring when my car is done. He let me drive his car. Its fast, for sure. I got my work cut out for me, but I think he's gonna be surprised.

Well, If I can get a set of the million color LED strips to be able to function as R8ish lights normally and amber turns when pulling the lever I may. However I have not had time to even look into that. I will definitely see if I can get that worked out before I take the car back to the body shop for them to go over it again. They are gonna have to rework part of the front bumper anyway to fix the tow truck damage anyway.... We'll see what happens though. I'm a bit doubtful the controller for the LED strips exists that will be able to do what I want with them though.

Gotcha. Yeah, its not for everyone. I been looking into stuff to replace the chicken wire. Honestly though, with the wheels on you hardly notice it.

I can't see why a controller doesnt exist to make amber flash that wouldnt make sense to not exist, maybe you could just install two strips, amber flashing above/near/instead of the "driving" white or turn the white off when the amber comes on/turn signal is on. How is the motor coming ?

I don't want to add another strip, that would start to block the beam from the LED spotlights. One of these rubbery flexible strips fits nicely in the bottom corner of the ftp and will literally hold itself there if you wedge it in good. You can secure it for good with just a couple dabs of glue then. The pics I posted show the LED strip in the housing with nothing holding it in place but itself. Stacking one on top of that will get messy though. Using a 1 million color strip controlled properly would be the perfect solution.

There are controllers that exist for these multicolor strips. But I dunno if they can be setup to work the way I want. I'll do some research on this tomorrow at work.

I wasn't able to get as much done with the car as I would have liked to over the last couple weeks. There were a couple days where I had taken work off and planed to work on it all day long but family emergencies prevented that from happening. The engine will be ready when I need it though.

Since I havent taken one apart Ill hold your judgement above my thoughts, although I think theres a way to make it work but would have to see up close, I'm sure theres a controller that will do what is correct, your simply asking for two colors and momentary on/off thats all.

That unit I think could do what you want but you would need to call them and ask specifically, if you buy the millions/find a driver ship the whites to me, Ill use them as driving/momentary turn signal as white, don care :P

RRTEC, I actually don't think I have seen a Sig pic I disagreed with more, Rx-7's DO in fact love you back, maybe after only 23 you still just don't understand them or how they show it, ever think of that ? I have owned many more than that and I can tell you for sure some are better at showing it but all Rx-7 love owners that love them, plain and simple.
