Just picked up this 90 fc turbo for a project ...went to sevenstock n got rotary fever again

1990 s5 140k. Looks like a reman was put in at some point..car was sitting for a while so the fun begins. It did make the 90 mile trip home over donner pass (8k ft). Felt a lil down on power hopefully the cats are clogged. Over all it ran realy well but has some oil leaks i need to track down.

Mods so far...
Elec. fan
Crappy dual exhaust
Cone filter
ST purple springs
Ebc yellow pads


The guy who saved it from a field started some work it got new fuel filter/lines/inj cleaned and put on a new TID from mazda.

It's not nice enough to be a show car (salvage title) so its gonna be a cheaper drag car /back road carver.

Future mods to get it on the track runnin low 13's high 12's
Rebuild motor /turbo
Rtek
720cc sec.
Downpipe with cutout
Weld some borlas on so i can get rid of ricer style exhaust
Fmic

Install my old cobras n slicks and strip it out some weight and go have some fun

Like the ride. Never really was a fan of FC in black, but the pic of the rear really looks mean. Good luck in your build, looking forward to seeing some grand project in future.

 

That interior looks like it's in pretty nice shape.

 

Yea the dash is perfect all vents are un cracked the seats dont have a rip either.... Not to shabby it must have been stored indoors

No grand plans would like to be running low13's n 12's for under $5k total investment including the cost of the car. So i got around $3k to play with for mods n such

 

Downpipe ordered n removed rear sway bar gonna mount up the slicks tomm..

Got downpipe and i am gonna just run 2.5" straight pipe off with a exit before the rear tire...
Did some test hits and it need a clutch badd but it launched hard and squatted nice i would say mid 14's as it sits..

By jan ill have the rtek, inj n down-pipe and clutch on and get some numbers would like to see mid 13's @104-106 and have some fun before the motor rebuild
