Wanted to start this thread years back but never took the time to do so... 4 years later with ALOT of help we took a 87 FC turbo II originally that spent its life as a street racer<drift car<FD comp car<drift car...3 owners and years of beating and its still in one piece. My brother was the original modifier of a stock FC that he purchased from the original owner. Hopefully this is the last stage...retirement! The plan was a full rebuild from the frame up for a simple weekend cruiser/meet/event car.
So much info on this car over the years, I’ll add some pics of its youthful years.
How I received it in 2016??...rolling gutted shell
After a few weeks of cleaning and stripping...my buddy sprayed the frame with a enamel based primer.
The front end was chopped off and a tubular front end was designed and built to replace years of front end damage due to drifting...
A picture of the front end on and a coat of black paint to the car. The front suspension was thrown on to move the car around better.
I’ll continue posting up more pics soon...right now its running and I’m close to getting it on the street...been working on the wiring harness which is a royal pain!
Looking god so far! I'm really interested in going to ITB's as well. I've looked at several "kits", but recently discovered that a freind of mine has a complete set of tb's from a 1300cc bike. I'm following along, keep us posted!
