Had a pretty great weekend, and ended up taking the car down the street yesterday!

Was a bit terrifying.. The car feels quite strange compared to its previous self but sounds amazing! It is loud but I am pretty surprised at the overall noise with the port size and 4" exhaust. Nice and deep for sure.

One small coolant leak to sort out and I can get tuning! Then on to body and paint. Kit is mounted, hood is in progress and just waiting on some mirrors for the aero housings. Still have not decided on color / livery, but its coming together!

Cheers,
Alex

Had a few minutes to play around this evening, bodywork isn't my favourite thing to do but is a necessary evil. Looking forward to making it all one color (or not?).

Such a badass car... One of the most influential builds on here to me. Keep the great work coming!

Thanks VA!

Did a compression test after the first real street drive. Not bad, but I’m wondering if one apex seal might not have broken the superglued corner free yet.

Will test again after some miles! Love the new tester.

A bit more prep done!

I kinda think it locks wicked as is. Giving me some crazy thoughts… Maybe I’ll rock “ghost camo” for the season.

Guess its time to re-lip?

Maybe I’ll put a few miles on the car first..

Great build!!! I would leave it the way it is and drive it for now. I would wait until winter and have it painted then.

Been putting some miles on, tuning process is going well so far!

I woke up yesterday (had the day off work), and felt the need to re-lip the rear wheels so I went for it. The 315/35/17 Toyo R888Rs are mounted.

The new tire machine came in handy, no way I would have been able to do these without the assist arm!

Was browsing ebay this morning, bit of a surprise to see my car, lol.

I guess I've made it, thanks random ebay sellers!

kinda trippy ain't it? i posted some photos of one of my engine projects many years ago, here on the forum, and i ended up seeing a couple of them on a YouTube channel i subscribe to about two years ago. i thought it was trippy.

in your case, i think the best part of your story is that you didn't even use those flares. that's awesome!

that said, the Gen 3 is gorgeous! congratulations.

it is a known fact that while Gen 1s demand your attention, they are unselfish. Gen 3s, on the other hand, they don't like to share attention. so good luck.
