Incuding the spacers I get around 17x9 -25 in the front, and 17x10 -10 in the rear.

This should put the wheels nearly flush with the flares, yet leave a bit of room to move inwards if I have clearance issues (which is definitely a possibility).

Unfortunately it rained all weekend so I wasnt able to get as far along as I had hoped. Just managed to finish the rust repair..

Fingers crossed that its dry next weekend... 2-3 more solid days of work and Ill have pictures posted!

Really wish I had a garage.
It seems that every day I set aside to work on her, it rains.

Heres some pics from the first test drive! Side mouldings were put back on afterwards, and then I managed to mash a flare already since its so low. Guess Ive got a little bit of tweaking to do: maybe raise it up a half inch.

400/300lb springs just may be warranted....

Better pics to come!

I love it! Looks vicious!

You really need to get it aligned though. That Negative Camber and Toe Out
will really hurt your tires fast.

LOL. I am definitely aware of the sketchy alignment, its just eyeballed. However, the toe out looks way worse in those pictures than it actually is. Must be a bit of an optical illusion.

Just went out and checked the toe. Its actually quite close to 0*. Decided to take the camber down a notch though.. it was pretty extreme (had the GC plates maxed out for fun). Looks much more reasonable now

You sir have just made my day, I've been looking at getting a set of the wide ZG Flares for a while but slightly hesitant on how they'd look on a first gen...now I'm even more determined to get a set! I think I'll stick with meaty 15s or 16s but those 17s fit perfectly even more so with real tire on em not super duper rubber band stretched.

I honestly didnt think this was possible, but the FB managed to top out at over 180mph tonight..

7000+ RPM, .719 fifth gear, 4.10 rear gear, 265/40/17 tires. Do the math...

I dont take the car out very often and never really get the chance to open her up but I found myself on a highway cruise tonight with another FB and temptation got the best of me.
It was running super awesome and I just couldnt resist.

Still in shock at how this car pulls. Its a hell of a lot more car than I thought it was. Cant even imagine what an s366 will do to it...

All I can say is: what a night!

Hey dude, lovely looking FB. What fixings did you use for the flares - self tappers or nut and bolts?

Just about to fit some myself....
