question...is it better to reinstall the motor and tranny as a unit or each seperatly? we are almost getting to that point just waiting on a new clutch

I would install them as a unit. Sometimes mating the trans to the engine or the engine to the trans in the car can be a nightmare. It's easier to join them outside the car.

Update....

A shout goes out to my local Oriellys store manager...he found me sone Remanned rear brake calipers for my FB 84. They look like brand new...and the best part is he only charged me 65.00 for the set and is keeping an extra set on hand for me..Alao am getting the rear rotors turned for 25.00 each.
