Fred,

I like the style of the wing. If fits the car. Having the ability to adjust the angle would be a great feature. Is the main objective function or aesthetics?

I need to check this thing out some time over my semester break.

hi donnie,
it started as aesthetic but i may as well add functionality while i'm at it, thus a way to adjust it came into mind.

Fred, I have a new wing coming in in a few days, im sure you have never seen it before. We'll have to test fit it on your car if You haven't finished your wing yet.

Sounds good Alex, just let me know. Any pics of the wing? Thought I've seen all the wings before so am interested to know what you found.

As for my wing, got the aluminum and have cut it to shape. Also have the hinges modified for my need. Now will have to place an order for the supports.

Wing complete.

Here you can see the bracing on the bottom side:

Here's the top, installed:

View from the bottom, showing the bracing and hinge:

View from the back:

Overall, I'm liking the end result. Am able to adjust it easily with the turnbuckles as well as 2 additional adjustment holes on the mount on the body. Not sure if I want to paint it or leave it as is, as I like the "rawness" of the material.

thanks. It's .080 aluminum. fairly thick but still flexes at that length, thus the bracing underneath. Was thinking about getting an aluminum composite panel but I needed it to flex a bit to contour to the body.

Thanks. Seats may be coming out some time, debating whether or not to put carpeting in.

thanks che. i saw that you picked up that red widebody, start a build thread on that cause i'd like to see what you do to it (all your cars are all very clean!).

i never liked the look of the front end of my car. something was off. based on marco's recommendation, i painted the molding on the front bumper with plastidip to see how it would look. if i didn't like it, i could easily peel it off. i think it looks better now. what do u guys think?

Widebody

It looks great, I like the black accents. The proper wheel offset is so important on a widebody. I have seen your kit with the wheel offset totally off, does not look good.

I tried getting the Mariah rear number in fiberglass for my widebody but they did not have it any longer.

How does it look under the Rear wheel wells since u did not mold the rear flares. I like what you did u don't have to worry about stress cracks.

Thanks. Not understanding your question though.
