84-12a-gsl, you asked for the wing, You got it brother!! LOL it'll be painted so it won't hurt everybody's eyes! LOL
3rd and final 7 & ratboy..... The motor is in, which I will post pictures of that.
The motor is a gsl-se motor with the s4 turbo with a ported waste-gate (had to weld a new door) the motor was a factory reman with about 30,000kms, I have a secondary fuel rail with 1600cc running off a haltech f5. the dynamic chamber and runners were modified to have the chamber facing the opposite direction (not shown in pic) this way it's like a t2 and the it cleans up the IC piping. It has a locked dizzy, custom made turbo (MPS) manifold, light weight flywheel, all emissions gone, Trottle body mod, and all aluminum pulleys, alt from czech guy, water pump, custom made at universal tool& die, and the Racing beat main underdrive pulley. RESPPED oil pesdistil feeding the s4 turbo...(drain into oil pan) Also I swapped my water pump housing to the S4 aluminum to save some weight over the -SE cast iron version.
i like the color, looks like one off the newer rx8's. and the engine is all chromed out!? do you plan to even drive this car on the streets? looks to good to be a street driven car but one that is stored for years to come.

John65... the front rims are the second gen stock aluminum spares with moroso ds2 drag skinnies... LOL Dirt cheap at the scrap yards.
Yetterben, For the oil drain I tapped the front cover, however my turbo sits very low so I put a cap on the front cover and welded a bung and baffle in the oil pan.
Flat black rx7, When it's done it will be a summer daily driver and hopefully weekend track events. Stored only for winters. I've gone pretty far to ensure it will have many years of use! LOL As far as rust is concerned...

This car started off like this......

motor pulled few hours after purchase

As you can see the condition of the car, wheels had to be cut out.

Here are all 3 rx7s... the original blue car, the silver car which is now finished and this shell is sitting on the rack. Still in gray.

Wheel wells in stainless steel

The passenger side REAR quater panel was also cut out and replaced, that was a bitch of a job, not to mention never wracking! But it turned out really well, not noticable at all.

No problems with oil pan drain, as long as there is no restriction in the flow of oil. That is why a welded a baffle inside to protect it.

LOL I have since painted that area, I had to mess up the paint there to widen the driveshaft tunnel to clear the parking brake. I hammered the hell out of it, but it came out nice...

Lucky you have all the accessories needed to work on this type of project, where you can just leave it there if you can't work on it and not have to worry about anyone else messing with it since it's in your own shop. Nice bro. Love the blue.

LOL fine you win.... I researched tremclad and apprently they are the same thing.
Either way for the record there is no powercoating on my car, just incase people are wondering, everything is RUSTOLEUM. lol

The driveshaft brake would interfere with a tri link unfortunately. You can still use a panhard to replace the watts though.
