Progress
I've been working on it pretty steady all winter. I worked on the fuel system somewhat, that's almost finished. I got most of the metal work finished. Roll cage is painted! That was a fun one. I masked it off Saturday (6 hours worth) now I have to clean the inside up and get that painted. It's getting close.

Progress
I hope to. My parents are bad shape and I'm having to spend a lot of my time right now taking care of them. I did manage to sneak out Saturday and mask off the rollcage. 6 hours. It is getting close and I'm getting down to the fun stuff. So, hopefully this year I will drive it.
Hey man sounds like you are making pretty good progress, better than mine for sure. I can sympathize on helping parents and family, I hope every thing is doing better for you. Cant wait for pics.

Really like what youve done with the body, I dream frequently about doing a rear end just like yours and would like to incorporate the stock taillight section, do you think this is possible?
Either way frikkin love the work youre putting in looks like you are doing things right the first time, everytime.

I'm hoping to have the inside painted by the end of the weekend. I'll post more pics.

Body Work
Still sanding and sanding. Seems like it never stops. Almost ready for paint. Then I can start on all the other panels. Doors need a complete overhaul. All new seals.

I'm actually not going to paint it right away. I'm going to leave the epoxy primer which is a satin finish until it's sanded. I'm going to assemble it and drive it to make sure it doesn't get any stress cracks before I finally paint it white. I'd really like to drive it before it gets cold.

Ok, bodywork not quite done but I'm ready to move on to something else. I still have to install the front brake rotors and I'm going to use some hub-centric spacers to get the front wheels out flush with the fenders. Next up is getting the dash in so I can get the windshield installed. I still have some work to do on the diffusers as well but I'm pretty happy with it so far.

I'm dealing with similar issues. Good luck to both of us....
