81 custom widebody
Looking great!!!!
Your vision for this body work must of been reasonable clear and focused, because to be honest I couldn't see it being as good looking of a shape than it is!
The rear makes much more sense with the colour on it, and the front is just PHAT!!

Can't resist
I can't resist posting more pics. This is probably my favorite angle of this car so far. I'm putting sound deadener in the main passenger compartment. I did get the mirrors and headlights back in. I need to get the rear diffusers done so I can get the full effect of the body work.

I'd agree with this. Makes it stand out in most crowds and roads, as well as isn't terrible to keep clean (like black or dark gray). White seems to work well on the FB's body lines for the most part.
Not that your FB has many of its original body lines anymore, but that's for the better

Personally I like "Happy" non-metalic colors. Red, Yellow, Blue....etc. That said white racecars have a clean/serious look to them.
By the way, my RX7 racecar is a shade of yellow (Chrysler Prowler Yellow single stage) that closely matches a common Rustoleum color and bright yellow duct tape. In my world, crashing happens and ya gotta be ready!

Ha!
It's cool, really
. If the car had been any bigger, it would have been too much yellow. Those pictures don't come close to conveying the real color. It glowed in the dark. I, like Mustanghammer am a fan of the happy primary colors. I'm actually color blind so a lot of the fancy, show paint jobs are kinda lost on me. Besides I will ding it up. I've already got some spots I will have to fix just from working on it. I don't know how those guys like the show Overhaulin paint the car in pieces and re-assemble them with no scratches.
I paint my cars in pieces, usually put some tape along edges as I'm reassembling etc to keep things from getting scratched. I try not to be too uptight about it though since my cars are drivers and as such get stone chips and dings etc anyway during normal use.
Whatever you choose to paint it will be cool though, you've put so much time into customizing it you can do whatever you want

couple more with the headlights and mirrors. I just have the rear diffusors but I think I'm going to modify them slightly before I put them on. More fiberglass!!!!!

more
Got the sound deadener in and started on the carpet. I think it might be a little cold in my garage because it isn't wanting to lie down very well. I have to admit I have never laid a carpet in a car before.
