Got the rear fenders off the parts car and got some new parts in the mail!

I was going to make the exhaust tip, but I really needed to have the rings water jetted out. Seeing how my shop doesn't have one the cost was going to be kind of high... So I went ahead and just bought it. I welded 5m x.80 stainless nuts on the back side for ease of install and removal. I then had to trim down the finish ring to fit in the desired location. I have become a big fan of the hex head stainless bolts.

I also have recently started trying to come up with wing uprights. My first attempts I do not like, however you have to start somewhere!

These are just makeshift mounting plates to mock things up!

On my second attempt I finally figured out the degree angles for the mounting points. I still do not like the look, but I'm getting closer!

See, I really admire people like you that have the creative ability and skills to develop something like that - I applaud your efforts! I have no such skill nor the tools.

Looks GREAT!

Haven't done a whole lot to the car in a few days. I did however buy an NRG hub adapter and a gen 3.0 quick release for it! I'm still working on the uprights for the wing as well! I did finally find the look I want to go with!!!!!

Today I will mark out and cut the opening for the exhaust! Pics will be coming.

Update time!

I pulled/ sold the tank, started installing the front FC brake conversion, bought/installed T3 tension rods, ordered my braided brake lines, installed the T3 brake booster delete block, and started welding in my cage! Oh and I picked up a set of takata harnesses never installed for $210 lol.

Pics when I get a chance!!!

What's up guys. Been a few months since I've been on here.

Update!
I picked up another rx7........., again lol. I bought an 83 GS with the 3 piece wing and rear louvers. Car only has 89k miles on it and is a tornado silver metallic... Sadly the previous owner drove it to work at a metal factory. So the paint is ruined.

Now onto the widebody!!!!

I've gotten my takata harnesses, sparco steering wheel, NRG gen 3 hub, and aluminum fuel cell. The FC brake setup is on and complete for the front, but I'm still waiting on my rear axles to be drilled for the new bolt pattern. I'm currently working on making a new gauge cluster. Pics to come soon!
