Got the car back today.

They re built my manifold and downpipe in 2 days. Talk about good service.

Turbo sits more forward now and out the way of everything else. Tuning will commence mid February when my tuner is out of hospital

I been asked to drop my mates Wife to be off on there wedding day on Saturday, I told her she will only be able to hear the song she will be walking down the isle to once she gets to the alter with the Bridgeport idle but she don't care

Pics coming soon

Whats up guys,

The car started misfiring and didnt want to idle the other day so I feared the motor might have let go. Luckily we took the boost pipe off to get to the plugs and saw the harness for the pick ups on the CAS had rubbed through on one of the pulleys But atleast it wasnt the motor. Sorted the wiring out and back to normal now. Still waiting on a tune middle of February. Need to wire in my Innovate wideband before that as well.

Thinking of doing the surge tank and extra pump with the 1600cc injectors to run Ethanol but will see what happens.

Got my first race meeting on the 28th at a local drag strip. Keen to do some numbers but need some drag radials first as well.

Another pic from the meet the other day

Hi Guys,

Took car for road tune. Sadly didnt go according to plan:

Didnt want to hold less than 1.3bar. Changed the wastegate spring now it holds .8 bar happy days screamer pipe shouting now haha

Also injectors are maxed out. So I went ahead and sourced 2x 1600cc top feed injectors along with a Tomei FPR. Just need to machine a blank fuel rail we bought as we cannot get aftermarket stuff here locally for the 13b so that should be done in the next couple days all buttoned up.

Fitted my Innovate wideband yesterday. Looks awesome so can atleast keep an eye out on the AFR's now.

Car had a serious exhaust leak but sorted that out now too.

Have to take the car back for a final tune after everything is complete as we couldnt even tune the car at full throttle as it just went to 21psi and on 95 pump gas that isnt a good idea haha.

So we did a shoot a few months back a good mate of mine Nico Helped me out for a place called Durban Drags on Facebook. They were starting an online magazine but sadly it they cancelled it all but they still posted the pics and write up Nico did for me

Hello gentlemen and ladies

Eventually after alot of niggly problems we got the car dyno tuned last week.

We wired in the new innovate wideband gauge that I got from tiaan. We then got an aftermarket rail modified to fit the 1600cc injectors. The fuel pressure regulator got plumbed in to.

We needed new injector clips for the injectors wired in and connected to the coils. There was alot of unused wiring under the intake which were for the twinturbo setup. So we got a rotary guy to come to my house to delete that wiring and wire in all the new stuff.

The car then went to arthur from aj racing for a road tune. My father took it for me as I was at work. My dad called and told me the car is done and pulling lovely. He then continues to tell me the clocks don't work. The oil buzzer was singing away as well. To add.. u turn the car off and pull the key out car carries on running. OMG here we go.

So I called the chap and told him to come to my house the following day and fix the flops. I was working night shift so I was sleeping when he came. Apparently it was all sorted out.

I pulled the car out the following day to drive it. Next thing windows not working. Great. Apparently the alternator wasn't giving enough power so we swapped it with the spare one. The ecu gets its power from the one alternator wire. Took the car to to a dyno day at SSM i think it is. Jumped in the car to put it on the dyno. See error light on ecu and car would shut off and then switch on again. Jirre i was naar now. Car splattered and carried on the dyno made like 217kw. Eventually my dad went through everything and he found the problems and sorted them outor so we thought.

Same day my car got tuned at arthur I got a call from Cobus the guy who usually tunes my car. I booked for the next Tuesday.

Went through to vereeninging side and eventually got the car tuned 100% on the dyno as I always prefer dyno to road tune. In peak hour traffic getting on the highway car switches off then on again. Then switches off and had to start it again. Eventually got to Cobus shop. Checked fuel pump relay and then the power. Bolt looked a bit tacky so gave it a quick sand and reseated everything and tightened it up. Problem solved.

Car made 333kw at 6psi on the microtech ecu and .8 bar on the gauge. Regular 95. Then chucked 40l avgas in and turned the boost up. I got a very soft waste spring in at the moment so apparently the dyno wasn't creating enough load to get the boost up need a stiffer spring. Went to 9psi and made 343kw. Then ran it again so I could take a video and it made 341kw and 500nm. He said with the boost up it would be 400kw + but for now that's enough power.

Sorry for the essay gents just thought I'd let u know the cap I've been through with this car lately

Haha soveel Suid-Afrikaanse engels. Car must be lots of fun with all that power now and all that torque. If you have electrical problems again I would check the alternator plug, I know that was an issue on my car. Keep up the good work

Yes will install them but some work is required on the reverse lights to sit flush. All in good time.

Went to a dyno night

made 300kw at .8 bar on pump fuel

Think the plugs are on their last legs. Also on the way home I was gonna have a run with a 200sx but as the third hoot went I put foot and zero power Intercooler boost pipe popped off. Wouldve been a nice race. Will try again soon haha
