Will ask the guy to send me clearer photos, what kind of impact will this have?
If it is going to cause issues then he must source another one and do it properly.

Ya it shouldn't be an issue as long as the surface is still flat which I'm sure it is

Started with the sanding down of the engine bay, a lot of work considering I need to get through 3 layers of paint to get to the bare metal but went pretty fast, managed to do most of the left side on Saturday.

Cost me around $400 to get both lightened but that is here in SA. Could be cheaper your side.

Here is what I did this weekend.

Striped front bumper off

Striped venders off

Sanded almost all areas of engine bay, just need to do the fire wall and done, will do that on Friday and spray down primer, hopefully get at least one layer of paint on too. Then the rest on Saturday.
Engine should be done this weekend and can therefore go in the following weekend.

Engine bay wrapped up and ready for primer

2 x coats of primer done

2 x coats of colour

2 x coats of gloss clear

Colour shift

I started the reassembly of the front wiring harness, rewrapped the entire harness and found some shorted out wires which I took car of, will post some pics of the wiring harness reinstalled.
