it doesn't look good for the turbo they say it has to be something about the setup in stead of the turbo being bad. i had a feeling this would go this way .... first and last time i buy a garrett turbo ...
i used the restrictor , oil retour goes straight down...

Good news. tested the turbo locally and it is not broken. but i will need to get the oil drain more vertical
i will cut the corner away but will leave the bolt and nut in place off course. with that i can rotate a bit more but now i will have the chance that my hose will melt away i think.
if i had known this before i would have made my own manifold and would not have this problem.

So .... today i have started the rx7 again after re-sealing of the oil pan and putting a stock oil pressure regulator in it because i had +-5 bar of oil pressure before.
the turbo is not leaking any oil anymore so i am vervy happy !
BUT .... with the original pressure regulator i have an oil pressure of 8 bar !!!!!! :-(
could it be that the regulator is faulty ??? or what could cause this problem ?
here is picture of the orignal and the modified one that was in the engine before.
