i think need to get the tools you've described and start practice bending... I love your bay and the rest of the car with the hard lines... really really nice!
As you've already mocked up your tank with the surge tank attached to it... will there be enough room to fit a tranny and differential oil cooler left to the fuel cooler / behind the surge tank?

I installed the turbo today. I decided to get rid of the stock lock nuts on the turbo manifold in favor of some more stage 8 lock nuts. So Matt and I welded some tabs onto the manifold to keep the nuts from spinning. This is reuseable and will be much easier to remove without the risk of galling the stock studs.
This shot shows a good view of the hardline turbo drain we made last year as well as the turbo mounted.
Stage 8's installed.
I also got a super sweet nut blocker from SBG, hopefully I do not need it often. haha

Just be happy that you are not doing all of this stainless fabrication in Hawaii. On Oahu a 125cf tank refill of argon is $150.00. I went through 75% of it making my stainless Y-Pipe.....
I have decided that I weld too slow. :-p

Can you show how you fastened the pick up tank to the bottom of the fuel tank? I really like this location and possibly will be doing the same set up lol I am stealing a lot of ideas man hope ya don't mind! Btw are you feeding those two 044 pumps with another 044 in the tank?

I just welded bolts to the bottom of the plate. They act liike studs. The surge tank comes with 4 holes for mounting already attached.
Yes, there is a third 044 in the tank.

LOL, the only bend that I had to scrap and start over was the feed line from the dual 044 pumps. I had to do that one 3 times. I was trying to route the line incorrectly with too many bends. Once I simplified the routing I was able to make what you see.The rest I got on the first shot. I am real good at bending lines *pats self on back*

I got the car started saturday night.
I still have a lot of small things to get done. I have been lazy with taking pics as I have been trying to get as much done as possible on the car. I will probably update the thread later with some pics.
