Updates
So, it has been a long time since the last picture update. Some of this is not in order and I appologize.
This is the dash before I painted it, for some reason I forgot to take a pic of it painted black.
Here is how I ended up mounting it. I scrapped the original idea of mounting it to the white cluster surround and mounted it to the gage cluster surround instead. This was done so I can control the placement and protrusion of the dash easier. The final goal is to be able to install the indtacter lights and warning lights back into the surround. I was just not able to modify it in time before DGRR.
I also installed a new OEM clutch slave and master cylinder as well as a SBG clutch line.
This is why, it was leaking.

I also installed Endless ME-20 brake pads that I purchased from SBG into my SBG BBK. Man they are LOUD, definitely a track pad. I may switch to some mx-72 pads soon for the street. Literally louder than the car, it sounds like a garbage truck.
I also picked up an IAC connector from IRP.
Matt helped me install new speakers into the car, the OEM ones were shot. But my OEM radio is broken so they are useless at the moment.
I also installed a Shine RE pro diffuser. This was about 1 hour before I left for DGRR at 4:30 am.
I also installed shine Feed sideskirts. This is the hotel in bryson city NC

Thanks, I have to take some finished photos and upload them. I still think there is some room for improvement, the pics don't show the small imperfections that I want to fix.
Yes it is!!! he is hard to catch a photo of in the wild. Like this one I took a few months ago.
"no pictures, no pictures"

Motor go boom
Well, this is the main update. A few weeks ago the motor blew up. It seems that I chipped an apex seal. No surprise as this is a stock 70kmi motor with 3pc seals.
So time to pull the motor.
Here is a shot of my coolant lines that run to the wastegates and the turbo.
The brown stuff above the wastegate is just some dust from the DP when we removed it.

Trip to irp
So I made a trip to IRP and helped Goodfella on his 95 BB car (swapped a ton of drivetrain parts) then we proceeded to disassemble the motor and see the carnage.
My beautiful clutch
Yay for cracking, guess I need to start running some race plugs from now on.
Plugs melting out of the corner seals.
Side seal that had no spring tension due to heat.
My special shelf at IRP
