I also have the Spirit R cluster which I'm pretty sure lights green. Next time around, I'll put the RE-A Speedo into the Spirit R Cluster.

DGRR 2011 update... I'm about to lock in the date.
The spirit-r cluster was available in both amber and green, however it is much more common in amber, if you have it in green then it was one of very very few to light up green.

Update...

I haven't driven the Cosmo in awhile so I picked it up few days ago, detailed the car, swapped out the wheels, and drove around town and snapped some pics.

Your Cosmo looks awesome. What a fascinating car. I wish it were easier to legally get one.

Thanks! Usually people turn their head as I drive and few have asked me. But the best experience so far was when I had a chance to park the car front of SpeedSource tent here at Barber Motorsport Park and several guys from the team came out to take a look at the car. Sylvain Tremblay even told some of his tech, "That's the car our engines came out of...". That kind of made my day.

I think I might of post something on the 20B section... But that might of been awhile back. I don't have much plan for this car... Right now, I have another 20B that's broken down that I'm going to use 13B REW housing to build a spare engine for this one.. Should be ready sometime next year... hopefully..

Jonathan, Glad to do business with you and I truly appreciate your professionalism and care for us rotorheads. Will definitely do business with you again!

Those of you considering FEED parts, Jonathan is one of 2-3 FEED distributor in USA. I highly recommend him!

Hey Gordon! Thanks for the kind words... I'm really wanting to put the 3 rotor in but these days, lack the time and some cash

Hope you could attend this year. Me and several of us are heading up on Thursday April 28th to chill and do some relaxing runs around town... mostly just sit back and chat about cars. So if you could join us then, that would be great. I'm going to try to bring the MB and the Cosmo. And if all goes well, my SSM.

Regarding 7 Stock, I'm considering.. My brother is in SD,CA and since I didn't get to go out there this year, we are planning to go next year... hopefully around the time of 7Stock.

Sounds great Gordon! I'm super excited to meet you in person and hang out.

DGRR 2011 registration should open on Monday and I'll update some of the info for 2011 tomorrow night. I suggest registering early and the lodge where the event happens will book up in a month or so. They are also going to run a special where if you book friday and saturday, they are going to throw in one night for free. NVNC is by far the nicest place around that area and great location to do other things than doing the dragon.

Regarding 20B... Are you planning to buy another motor? If so, I'm looking for someone to go in with on a front clip. I'm mainly wanting non-related to motor swap and just wanting few little interior stuff and the bumper and such for my cosmo. Its an "B" series motor and its in running order.

I'm also interested in what your next plan is

Gordon, PM replied.

Well, I had some time today and messed around with my CF hatch and APR GT300 wing.

Here are some pics.

Looks good, what brand hatch is that? the ones I was looking at didn't seem strong enough to take a GT2, doesn't take much to reinforce the corners though I guess

Can't remember what brand the hatch was... I bought it like 6+ years ago.
yeah.. I was able to lift the hatch using the wing but it was uncomfortable feeling. But with some reinforcement on the corners, I think it should be fine.

Yeah.. I need some help pulling the stock one off... as I can't do that myself. Stock hatch w/ glass plus the 99 wing is HEAVY!

Yeah I don't recommend trying to do it yourself, I'd get at least one person per side and one in the middle to take out the 2 fasteners.

I did it by myself about a year ago and man were my arms screaming after that little nightmare. Keeping that sucker balanced with one arm and trying to get a nut started with the other aint fun.

^^I hear ya.. I've swapped out the rear hatch several times so far... Let's see.. 2 x times on my MB FD because I went from bad tint job to better tint job and when I went to 99 rear wing. And 2 x on my black FD when I went from 93 to 99 wing and from 99 to CF hatch.

Definitely requires extra help.

Hey Phil, question for you: have you replaced any of your rear bushings on your cars and if so, what did you use? Mine need some freshening before DGRR and I am going with Gordon's advice to use MazdaSpeed ones unless there is something out there that is better.

I have read up on the poly/Delrin ones and it doesn't seem these are good options due to their hardness and squeaking. Would like your opinion on this.
