I still stand by my theory that a t3 1.0ar is not big enough to flow correctly over 20psi.... I still say a 1.10 is a quick and easy swap. The wastegates you have gone though at least 3 times that I have heard of with no success. The locations of the waste gate should not be an issue to the degree you are having it. For example I have witnessed Full Race manifolds with the waste gates opposite of the flow path working perfectly fine. Either swap hotsides, or send your WGs in for testing.

the full-race manifolds use dual 44mm MVR gates.

and send the wastegates in for testing? just hook them up to compressed air and make sure they're opening (which they obviously are or the boost would instantly shoot up to infinity). it's a diaphragm, not rocket science.

Do you know what goes into testing a wastegate? Lol there is another thing called heat under load that will cause a wastegate to stick so apparently it's rocket science

The gate could have a guide rod that is warped allowing it to only open partially. Is the point I am making.... Heat would exaggerate this condition due to metal expansion/deflection. But I'm sure you already knew that lol

testing the gates simply with compressed air will show you how far the valves are opening, if they're off the car when testing them or if you simply remove the dump tubes.

unless the rocket science you're referring to includes the stem of the valve warping only when it gets hot and it doesn't allow the valve to open completely, then goes back perfectly straight when it's cold so it would pass a simple compressed air test.

you rocket scientists, you're all the same!

Shawn deleted the " T "s in the wastegate lines and the over-boosting had been cut way down..

by "overboosting" are you referring to the boost creep?
so, not fixed, but cut way down?

It appears to be in more of a range that I might be able to connect my boost controller.

I love the random Mich Golden cans and bottles sprinkled into this thread! True Minnesotan. Ever been to cars+coffee in Chanhassen? I feel like I've seen your car before, but that was before I owned an FD so I prob wasn't paying attention too close.

Nice car, keep it up!

Yes I made it out last year once... I live in the Brainerd lakes area so its kind of a haul to get out there... If I get the car trailer with in a reasonable time this year I plan on making it out to more events in the cities..
