haha, thats sweet. does yours still have the plastic over the seats like mine after 5 years. can tell I almost never sit in them since I never took the covers off. lol.

 

well I use it every meal so eventually the plastic got torn off. My build quality is quite bad, and one time a metal bracket fell off it... My dad got these chairs, where did you get yours?

 

yeah I barely eat at the table. And yes the quality is poor I got it as a temp table that just stayed there. I got it as a local store here in NY. was like $100 for the table and 4 chairs so I was not expecting fine craftsmanship here. lol. but it does the job for now.

 

Well, they were better than the previous chairs I had, which were 20 years old and I think my dad got them off a friend who was upgrading, so it was free we only got the chairs, not the table though

 

Haha, yeah well mine will go going to the trash once I move... if you were closer I would have just gave you the table and chairs. lol.

This was a upgrade for me too. I was using a folding table as my table and a big TV box as my kitchen island at one point

 

finally happy I have been driving the car around. been going to the thursday night meet and breaking her in before the tune! sucks I can't boost it or push it hard... some 350z pulled up on my the other night and tried to run but I was not going to risk the motor for a 350z...

but certainly not looking forward to the gas bills now that the car is up and rolling.

haha, at least you have an island! I asked my dad, and what's funny is that he claims these chairs came from a friend in Malaysia? That's pretty odd. Also my table is some sort of plastic with wood printed on top.. it works, but still...

Hold up, three weeks ain't that bad considering some tuners you can't even get a hold of. and I needed at least two weeks to request a day off from work so its fine with me. and it gives me time to get the last minute **** into the car!

So I am getting ready to get tuned in two weeks. I still have a few minor things to get on the car but wanted to get peoples thoughts or warning on what to check or double check or triple check before going to tune.

Things to do is
Replace fuel filter
Install undercut pulley
Install 3bar map senor
Fix oil leak under the car

Things I have but not sure if I should install
Meth kit: going to try to get this in before tune
Oil catch can: not sure if I need this to tune?

any insight will be helpful. seen plenty of people go tune and not be able to tune because of issues. and I do not want that to be me.

 

ah the day of faith is today in about 8 hours when I go to court for my speeding ticket for this darn rx7! 109 in a 55 and illegal lane change.

So just in case I do loose my license... took the car out tonight for a spin to the meet. me and mobeoner the only two FD's that showed up.

Sometimes you just roll the dice and hope your number comes out! haha. pretty much the case was delayed over a year and a half and the cop did not show! might have retired! I don't ask questions. I am told dismissed and I do not complain at all

Yeah, I know the feeling man. Mines been sitting on jack stands for 3 years. When you make rx7s your job all i do is work on everyone's rx7s never on mine.LOL
Have some faith it will be fine. Just have a good tuner tune it and just drive it.

 

Yeah man. well I have no time because of my non rx7 job. lol. at least you get to work on other 7's and hope you get time to work on yours. I am hopeful that the car won't blow up before the tune or during tune. Going to speed1 for the tune, so I know I am in good hands.

Just my life! Got everything ready to tune... did a compression test yesterday. 60 in the front and 70 in the back. not sure what happens now. hoping its low because the motor has been siting around for a while. but with my luck. I don't know.

What are the chances my motor blows during the tune!

 

well, do it again but this time let it run again and then check it just to be sure.
