are you opposed to water and oil cooled turbo's ruch? I'll be ordering one of the twins turbo's gaskets as well. Now if we could only get them to produce a block to manifold gasket huh?! haha.

Surprised to see you selling your 4in exhaust.. It looked really nice and figure'd that one would be on your car for a long time coming!!

I can't wait to get my exhaust manifold made, i'm going with twin synapse gates, both on 14lb springs =-) looking forward to more of your updates!!

Keep in mind the Precision turbos with the new 66mm turbine wheel all come with the Billet compressor wheel and are not available with water cooling.

As a non-technical guy, what is the advantage of running twin waste gates on a single turbo application? FYI - the Synapse units work great. Have one on my 20B and it is rock solid.

It makes the system true full divided- with a single wastegate unit it created an exhaust by pass between runners.

How about running lines similar to this instead of full rigid oil and coolant line so it can have some sort of flex no?

Ahhh ****. I forgot they went to air cooled center sections. Well, I'd like to think they did their research and it's not needed. I think it's funny we went from water cooled turbos to water cooleed wastegates (tial) Which is actually someting you might look into. They made them specifically for road racers and rotaries. Keeps the diaphram from going to ****.

As far as power goes, You were already at 500whp, so I'd say the the 6266 would make the same power at less boost, or you could make more power with less with the 6766.

I actually have a PT6266 on the way.
Should be here next week or so.

Looking forward to your decision to see a comparison of numbers.

Some shots of my new KSP Attain high-capacity transmission pan...... wasn't cheap but man oh man is it a nice-lookin' piece in person. My trans guy was not expecting something this high quality, and figured it cost me almost a grand

Mainly for packaging purposes. Now that I'm moving away from my old exhaust, many of my buddies who track with me are telling me I had the best-sounding 13B they'd ever heard.... they tell me this after I'm already committed to a different exhaust setup

Anyway, the old setup is for sale, if anyone is seriously interested PM me.

New setup is going to be a 3.5 inch downpipe moving to...... the rest is secret for now. I will say that it should be the only system of it's kind here in the USA

Yup, I pulled the trigger on a billet 6766 dual BB T4 1.0 turbo. This decision was mainly driven by the new CEA turbine wheel, which should be the hot ticket for lapping.

I'm a big Garrett advocate and wanted to stay with their turbos, but this is a chance to try something different. I can always swap out the turbo, although going from non water-cooled back to water cooled would be a pain.

Going with the tried-and-true A-Spec tubular manifold, and going to try and fit some larger dual WGs, either TiAL 44 or Precision 46mm units.

Good choice on turbo sizing, that should be a beast on the street

I've had my eye on the trans pan and diff cover for a while. Very choice.

Attain Trans pan looks great. Did you also consider the Feed pan?

Julian, I think Rich went with the KSP pan because it is deeper than the FEED pan.

Rich, Definately go with the percision wastegates, they do not need to be water cooled, also they are bigger than mine.

I looked at the FEED pan, but the Attain unit seemed to be of better construction. At least in pics

It sure is a machined work of art vs. a rough casting.

A few small updates, I received the inconel T4 divided gasket in the mail from Twins Turbo and it is a sturdy piece. Looks like it'll fit the bill.

I'm revamping my catch can setup and ordered the RE-Speed 'damian spec' oil filler neck with -10AN fitting.

This past weekend the IRP official welder was on the scene and I had him weld up any unused nipples on my UIM as well as weld up all the AWS/DT openings so that block off plates are a thing of the past. My engine is on the stand so I had him weld up the rear iron coolant provision too.

I also just snagged this beauty, been searching for an authentic MS piece in black for a looooong time

A couple of shots from a few weeks back.

Track use + exhaust leak at turbine/manifold flange = crispy LIM heat shield

Is that blanket reusable or are you going to have to replace it?
