rx7 drove 300 miles to road atlanta, drove 125 miles on track, and drove 300 miles home.
in our posse was me (rx7), moody (6spd supra), trenton (turbo auto supra), matt cole (turbo miata), roommate david (e46 M3), pauly (rx8), and robert (turbo FC)
videos here, pictures below:
later in the day, video of mostly me and moody
earlier session, view from the turbo miata:
roommate's E46 M3
i hope you enjoy the pictures.

the black supra was probably also around 1:45. he was pretty fast.
the weather was pretty cold, so the tires weren't very predictable for me, and several people crashed that day, so we were all taking it easy, except for my roommate in the e46 M3, who was hammering 5 seconds faster than us...
i have some RPF1s now with 265 RE11s which should have a lot more grip than the 225 RS3's i was running. i am excited to go again. our next even is going to be at Barber in march, i think.

the black miata is my good friend, roommate from college.
the setup is basically a gt28 / AEM / fmic / wilwoods, makes about 250whp. pretty sweet little car. here's a build thread (you should be able to see it her without logging in):
gt28 Miata "Black Attack" - TennSpeed

well guys, i havent updated this thread in a while. it's been stupid cold outside, especially for tennessee. they actually cancelled school here because it was too cold. haha.
anyway, i'm going to do some substantial changes to the car, which will include selling my very nice turbo setup in order to "blaze the trail," as they say, and try out one of the EFR internal wastegate turbos.
this setup made 342whp on a heartbreaker Dyno Dynamics dyno at 11.5psi:

thanks elliot.
as elliot alluded to, i sold my nice precision 6262 setup to a forum member, and i'm now going with a Turblown shorty manifold and a borg warner EFR 8374 internal wastegate turbo that i purchase through Turbosource.com for the lowest price i found on the internet.
here are some pics from turblown:

i'll post more pics this weekend when all my parts arrive

it is broken (the common FD solder joints) and it works intermittently.
i just purchased a working stock tach, which i will be replacing this weekend.
Now if we could only get a small frame IWG EFR to fit with air pump/emissions in place.

Looking forward to see how this setup works for you! Its what i wanted to do but am hamstrung due to tight emissions in my state.
