i added up everything i've done to the car (that i can remember) and thought of what is left to do before the Road Atlanta event in november, and here's what i've come up with:

sold PFC and commander
rebuilt turbo (GTX35R, currently trying to sell it) at turblown.net
sold turblown single gate manifold
removed NGK wideband (trying to sell currently)
sold 44mm MVR wastegate

bought turblown twin gate manifold
bought two tial mvs wastegates
had a new stainless downpipe made (with wastegates recirc'd)
wrapped downpipe with DEI titanium wrap
bought precision 6262 turbo
bought innovate MTX-L wideband, replaced NGK wideband
bought haltech PS1000 and made a nice harness myself
installed some free LS1 coils and made custom plug wires
bought two pillowball bushings and replaced 2 worn out clunking atomicrex spherical bushings
made heat shield for LIM with gold foil
re-dyno tuned the car
bought double DIN screen to display my haltech data
fixed clogged sunroof leak
replaced spark plugs (one hand-tight loose spark plug, yeah)
fixed -10 oil cooler line leak
bought MAC boost control solenoid for haltech boost control
installed lots of reflective heat sleeving
bought hawk HT-10 pads front and rear (going to replace fronts with DTC-60s)
flushed brake fluid with motul RBF600
replaced and relocated fuel filter and fix future fire hazard
replaced diff bushings with poly

still need to:
replace the rest of the stupid atomicrex spherical bushings
replaced front pads with DTC-60
get alignment
figure out minor exhaust leak

probably several other things i will come across. it never ends!

ok it's been a while since i updated.
looks like i scared gordon off with the twerk team videos.

anyway, i had a minor fuel leak at the tank when topping off the tank... so i took the inspection plate off and saw that gas was lightly sloshing/seeping out of the very top where the assembly bolts in! terrible. i looked a little closer and realized 3 of the screws were completely gone, and one of them had the head broken off... fml.

replaced all the hardware with some nice little hex cap screws with stainless washers.
the threads for these little fuel pump hanger assembly screws are m4 x .7 for future reference.
i also installed a new fuel pump hanger rubber SEAL that i forgot to take a picture of.

see the "missing" screw where the oem one seized and had been broken off
i'm a little scared to attempt to extract the screw.

Twerking I thought you scared him away too. Only thing better then that video is Miley at the vma's.

that fuel tank plate is a bummer. Mine had a few rusted out like that but there was enought sticking up to grab it with vice grips (the heads twisted off) You don't look so lucky and drilling, extracting are out of the cards unless you drain the tank. Looks like a winter project I doubt it will seape with only one missing. If you can grab it they are not in there to tight just Awkward to get to. Good luck!

i actually had enough to grab with vise grips, but it still broke off flush!
i got it all back together and went out to hammer and test it out and it did NOT leak. all is well! yeah, maybe a winter project.

Uhmmm, guys, twerking is not new technology.....

It was and is part of many ethnic, cultural and tribal dances, especially in Africa; where it was likely derived--I mean copied from.

so i sold some stuff that came with it, PFC/datalogit/HKStwinpower/SBGheadlights and got a haltech, LS1 coils, and the precision 6262.

planning to road race / HPDE the car.
He certainly did. I know the PO as well.

I told him to not do anything with the car until he got back from Germany or to leave it with me in TX where it can be built well while being in my care until the car was 100% so it could be shipped to him.
The car was pretty much 100% stock minus some bolt-ons and the hood.

He trusted the wrong shops for the work and he paid the price. I felt bad for him to. It got to a point where he wanted to do an LS swap because of all the issues he had to deal with, not to mention getting things in order to move to Germany for a few years.

I'm glad to see this car getting some life put back into it.

update:
oil coolers have been loose, and i had to zip tie one of them up while i was on a little 3 hour road trip a few weeks ago. i had time today to take the front bumper off and make some brackets for the oil coolers.
i don't know what kit this is (previous owner bought it) but the brackets were very thing steel, and two of the 4 were broken, as you can see in the pics. i replaced the two broken ones with some simple aluminum U brackets i made.

whichever kit this is came with nice CF oil cooler ducts

i'll be re-doing the passenger side bracket tomorrow. it's sitting slightly high and the duct hits the bumper :/

also helped my "smug supra owner" friend with his cluster F project, fixing a few things on his turbo'd (previous NA) 98 supra. we replaced his turbo. he's actually not smug, and an incredibly nice guy (and quite young), but we always have to play on the stereotype around here

That supra have damage to the pass side rear quarter panel? Saw a silver one downtown Tuesday that looked great other than the damage.

that is the aeroquip -4 pushlock hose with some generic brass 1/4 fittings that i got at pep boys.

i'm actually going to replaced the two straight fittings pictured there with some 90* fittings to make it a little cleaner.
