Ah, what a shame. I'm part of the 'Stay Rotary' campaign, but I'm sure you'll make some power with that engine

Paint looks great. Excited to see how the whole car turns out after its final coat.

It’s powdercoat , it doesn’t have a paint code. Here is the links though.
Chrome base coat: https://www.ebay.com/itm/231261525520
Purple: https://www.ebay.com/itm/331552446020

You have to spray chrome first and then purple over chrome.

I used chrome powder coat on bell housing.

The build is coming along nicely. I'm glad you took a pic with the quarter cut off so I know where to make the cuts on my wife's car lol.

I appreciate it !

No problem ! Drill some holes and put a doubler underneath your quarter skin. Then use rare earth magnets to grab the joining side since you can’t get a clamp behind it for plug welding. Make sure you get decent sized magnets, better to be oversized then not too. Make sure your plug holes aren’t too big or you will make a mess. Also make sure that you have epoxy primer on hand as it has to be sealed up. Don’t use weld through primer because it doesn’t seal the panel , rust will form.. its crap.

Update**

Haven’t been updating regularly..

Really close on being able to drive it.
Updates:
-8.8 kit installed
-rear subframe powder coated
-Samberg v1 radiator modified with a updated high quality core
-all power accessory’s
-BTR stage 3 cam
-MSD 2 step
-Fuel system completed
-digital cluster
.. and probably more I am forgetting !

Still need to modify gauge face a bit more but here are some recent pics. I decided to keep the OEM ABS,CEL,etc lights by modifying original cluster. I plan on carbon fiber wrapping the interior panels with real carbon, not carbon vinyl. I bought Alcantara deep black suede wrap for the dash as well. I believe part # 9040 Alcantara.

Looks good, I love the subframe. Your wheels are mounted so that your tires are backwards!

UPDATE - Finishing up the project.. hoping to be done very soon here.
In the process of finishing mounting my feed widebody. I bought the fenders from shine auto and requested carbon fiber reinforcement which makes the panels STIFF, they are no longer flimsly like feed fenders usually are. I used 3m panel bonding adhesive to mold them to the car. I also am fiberglassing the side marker light and fender holes so I can mold them smooth so they are no longer present.
