FD #6 "build" - combining two cars into one

now we're caught up to last weekend!
I had a random issue with my pushlock hose blowing off of the fitting.
NOW, before anyone gets scared of pushlock, this happened (in retrospect) because I re-used one of the pushlock hoses from my red RX7. I cut an already-made hose (that had been used for oil), cleaned it out, and stuck it onto a new fitting. this is apparently what NOT to do. the hose slipped off like people have reported in the past. this is the only time this has happened to me, and I am sure it is because I reused an old hose...
some of you may have seen my posts about supporting these push lock products, and I still stand by that.
I was sitting at a light and lost oil pressure. I immediately pulled over and discovered this:
a quick look revealed this:
so I finally got to put my new workbench to use!
i'm now back on the road.
(good thing this issue didn't happen at the track!)

what's next is a new 94-95 driver window switch and new driver door plastic trim piece.
RAY HOOKED ME UP. the dude is great.
I really need some 17x8.5" or 9" wheels and tires, but i'm done spending rx7 money for a couple months. and wheels/tires are always so expensive!

hey there! thanks. it doesnt matter which way you hook up the inlet and outlets of the coolers.
the thermostats are stuck in "bypass" mode when cool, then they force the oil through the cooling fins when they heat up enough (i think the temp is 180*F)
i have my oil temp sensor in the oil pan, and i noticed in the winter when it was cold (~20-30*F) the oil temps would still get low on the interstate, like down to 130*F which is too cold.
