1980 SA 12a, stock carb
Previous owner replaced plugs, wires, rotor, coils, fuel pump, fuel filter

I should note in that video the car was still warming up.
When I bought the car it was idling high and rough, about 2k, and seemed to be running rich. The previous owner had messed with the air and mixture adjustment screws to try and bring the idle down. After replacing a couple cracked hoses and adjusting the screws again, we (I had help) got the idle down to 1k, but it's still running rough and rich.
I have read about installing a fuel pressure regulator if you replace the fuel pump, and that was not done. Could this be part of the problem? I'm going to attempt a fuel pressure test soon. Also, the wire to the richer solenoid on the carb is broken. From what I've read, this shouldn't affect anything?
I'm new to rx7's/rotaries, and have heard all kinds of different sounds out of them online, so I guess I don't even know what a good idle sounds like, or how rich is too rich for them.
Thanks in advance for your time and wisdom!
