Blackduck30 FD

Well bought the Bathurst R 2002 about 10mths ago and have had issues with government giving me compliance as my complying center is over there cap limit so have been waiting.
So have been using the time to go over the thing and change and or replace as much as i can to get it to a basic state of how i want it.
It's not going to be a big KW build but want it at a place were it is as reliable as a 13B twin turbo can be.
Have been trying to buy as much OEM stuff as i can to replace any worn interior or exterior as i can.
Found the rear speakers were rat **** so have replaced those, replaced the radiator with a new PWR and done hoses as well.
Done the Auto EXE intake.
Blasted and powder coated front brace.
Replaced front sway bar mounts with the one piece brace
Removed and blasted and powder coated the head light frames.
Engine bay paint was pretty terrible as was the front inner guards, so resprayed as much of the engine bay as i could with motor in. front end off and front guards off. Inner liners were rooted so they came out. Inner guards were resprayed as well and new liners installed.
Also incredible how much dirt and leaves were in the front frame drain holes under the front guards.
I'll post up some pics to get this up to date and try and keep it updated as i do stuff.
It's nothing special and i have seen some incredible builds but just hope people appreciate it for what it is.

Insta.....fd3s_bathurst_r if anyone is interested

The under side section was also cut out and replaced and between the two sealed as much as i could

Thanks Guys,

The poor old girl is 20 so deserves some love and attention.
With luck she will repay that love.

Love the attention to detail, that's the kind of solid work that pays off over the years. Keep up the good work!

Thanks Guys.
I've always had the though that if you love the car it's a pleasure to play with it.
