Sweet build and I've always loved your garage setup. Hope I can get a garage like this in the very near future. Can't wait to see the completed project

If you have the money to pay for it, you surely can have the same treatment Everything you want done takes a lot of time, especially the quiet car stuff lol

I used about 16lbs of it. The bucket weighed 64lbs when I first got it, and about 48lbs when I was done. So needless to say, I have a bunch still laying around....I hope it doesn't go bad quickly.

The stuff works well but you need to use 3 coats for maximum effectiveness. Looks like you used less than that to me from the pics. Each coat should be painted on like a bad paint job meaning it should be applied thick and then allowed to dry before the next coat.

I used Quiet Coat about 4 years ago and it is one of the best things I have done to the car. Doors shut now with a nice thud and it is much more quite. Painting the tranny tunnel was a good idea as lots of sound is transmitted up from there.

Nice build!

David, I actually referenced your thread when applying the coating . Trust me that stuff is laid on thick. I applied 3 coats; waiting until the previous coat has dried to apply the next. In some areas I actually did 4 coats. Both sides of the transmission tunnel are coated, so hopefully it'll quiet any driveline noise.

Cuddles approves everything I do

Back to where we left off; Replacing the rest of the bushings was pretty straight forward. Since the kit came with the diff and steering rack bushings I replaced those as well.

Rear upper control arm with a new pillow ball.

::::Presses fast forward::::

I'll take more detailed suspension pictures in the next few days.

For anti-roll bars I went with Tanabe front and rear; fit and finish is great.

AutoEXE rear strut bar (hard to find)

Next up... Refreshing the brakes and more suspension pictures!!

*Update time*

I forgot to mention I'll be upgrading the toe links and trailing arms; most likely going with Rotary Extreme units since they include dust boots.

Here is the front tanabe anti-roll bar along with the widefoot mount

Unfortunately I had to shorten the work bench recently, but you'll notice a new sink where the rest of the bench used to be

More updates to come soon

I had to edit OUR work bench; it does look weird but not as bad in person. I can't wait to get the engine and interior back into Pirate hooker; there will be so much more space available.

If I didn't see the Autoexe bar I would have went with the race shop harness bar anyway!!

****, just realized I used the wrong revision of our logo on those pics lol whoooooooooooops
