Finally finished clearance-ing the crank scraper and snapped this pic before I put the windage tray on and buttoned her back up.

 

So what does that do for you?

 

It contours closely to the crankshaft and rods to reduce parasitic drag from excess oil and helps pull it back into the sump for recirculation.

Had a fun weekend. Have a long list of to dos before the next event we want to attend in mid October. Unfortunately we had boost control issues on the dyno and couldn't exceed 14psi.

Went to FL2K14 for the roll race and it got canceled so I did a few fun passes.

 

I LOVE this car! Someday I want to do an turbo LS swap in my FD.

One question though, why not heat wrap all of the exhaust under the hood? Those manifolds have to get stupid hot!

 

Only wrapped the D/S because it was melting the power-steering cap.

 

Car keeps getting meaner and meaner.

You should digicamo wrap the doors but cut the black parts out so the carbon fiber of the door shows through

 

I'm really digging the hood, what are you going to do for finishing it? Paint, wrap, leave it as is? Your car reminds me of a modern Mad Max Falcon, very apocalyptic.
