Now that is pretty cool. They make mirrors for all types of radar detectors. You can even display your gauges in the mirror as well:

Online Store

Not sure I'd want to look up at the mirror to see my gauges but pretty neat regardless.

It's good for the detector because then you can permanently conceal it and put the display where sometimes a compass is displayed. No-1 thinks twice typically or asks at car shows. I did not buy mine from them, those prices are high I got mine from some independent person on ebay few years back for under a $100.

In the states that it is illegal to have a detector, can you simply **** it off and the policement would not be able to detect with his special hand held unit the fact that you have a radar detector installed in your car? In my case they two the car if they discover it or detect that you have some sort if a radar detector.

I appreciate the info

Thank you

Andrew

Rebuilding the other pair of 17in oz mitos(8.5in) I have for a street tire rear. 8.5in barrel and 2.5in lip for a 11in overall width, measured everything before I bought parts rim fits right where I measured it to be. going to have to slightly pull the rear depending on where the tire sidewall ends up. Planning to run a 315/35-17 r888 for a street tire, roll races and 1/2 mi+ events. Therefore I can leave the mickeys(295/45-17) on the current 17x10s for 1/4 mi events.

Old v new

Jake personally came down to us here in florida, figured out our issue. The AFL valve kept checking ok but all of our symptoms pointed to a worn afl valve. Did an afl valve and trans is stout! Feels alot stronger up top vs the junkyard one we were running before(probably was slipping). Did alot of testing, have a new best trap of 147 with a passenger lol. The new 3.08 gear feels really good for our combo.

Started with this project today

Almost done with the driverside. Running/turn combo light on the inside

Angel eye on, cant get a stepped away shot because of bleed but it looks menacing from 20ft+ because of the top cut off.

It would be a dream to be sponsored by these people... but I can at least add this to my collection of rockstar energy swag.

Any chance you could elaborate on why you picked the auto tranny vs. a built T56? Just curious thats all

This is why, the most built t56 offered: Tick Performance Level 5 SUPER Magnum TR-6060 Conversion (900RWTQ and up) for 98-02 Camaro & Firebird - Tick Performance

900RWTQ... thats it wont even say 1000 on their page, auto transmissions come with warranties for a lot more power.

Also holding boost through shift is so much fun.

oh ok, got it. Any details on your tranny? Does it allow you to shift when you want, or do you just set it up in a computer and forget about it?

Stopped by Improved Racing today and Micheal hooked me up with a oil pan baffle and a crank scraper (yes I know i will have to file it because ls1 and ls3 cranks aren't the same but couldn't wait 3 weeks for the ls3 ones to be back from manufacturing)
