Either that or they were waiting for the rotary fumes to clear.

Wow, exciting times. I would've stayed another night (as I was planning) myself, but the beer was gone and the heat in the camper was on the blink. I would've been fine, but didn't want to deal with small kids in all that. Do you give lessons on driving blindfolded backwards down the mountain in the snow?

Yeah, I'm sure that large groups of rotaries are excellent bear repellent. Maybe I should've just left mine idling all night? lol

Mr. Brown,

I'm not sure that that is a skill which can be taught. Those born in Michigan either have the skill, or die young.

I laughed when you mentioned that your heater wasn't working, but since you had children with you I guess that's a legitimate excuse.

Hahahaaa!! My father was born in Dearborn and grew up there. He then went to Michigan Tech under the ROTC program to enter the Air Force Pilot Training. I spent all my childhood summers at the 600 acre family farm on the back side of Boyne Mountain. I even went to Traverse City for Christmas one year! He can drive the dogshit out of a 2wd car in the snow and ice, so I don't doubt your mad skills. I'd love to find a way to get back up there someday. Maybe I've got enough of the gene that there's hope and you could teach me under the special needs category/conditions?
