v8envy - scammer

I sent him money for some clutch cylinders about 3 weeks ago, last week he replied saying he was sorry that he wrote the wrong zip code and they sent it back to him. All the while never supplying tracking information claiming he sent it without tracking. Then he said he was gonna ship it out 2-3 days so I can have it by this weekend. I still haven't received anything and he hasn't responded again.

Apparently he also told the exact same story to several others that he took money from.

He scammed a ton of other people for a lot more money as you can see in the above threads.

The other funny parts of the story, he closed all the threads he started so nobody would continue to post in them.

Has anyone called the local authorities where he lives? I thought his whole part out was strange to begin with, I was looking to buy the car whole, and asked if he would part it out since it wasn't selling. He was very firm in the fact that he didn't want to mess with parting it out and would rather take it to the junk yard. What a deal, I'm curious to see if this gets resolved. Justice needs served.

Are you joking? You didn't send me any refund, I got my money back from opening a claim with paypal and having to wait like a month for them to make the decision, so don't try to play it off now.

No you didn't, paypal gives you until a certain day to respond, and since you never responded to anything they refunded me the money on that day they set.

You took a ton of money from several people, gave everyone the same BS story about not writing down their address correctly, then you disappeared for months while everyone had to file claims to get their money back, and now you want to come back and act like it was an honest mistake, give me a break.

I saved all the text messages you sent on how the check was in the mail and should be on the way. I waited weeks while loosing other potential buyers on the car. You could have just said " Sorry man I lost my job and can't buy your car instead of lying to me for weeks" It's all a bunch of BS anyways because you managed to buy a roller out in Cali the same time you were going to buy mine. I would also have been fine with " Hey man I found a car I liked better somewhere else". The bottom line is you are very dishonest.
