Gst18co99 selling Focal Utopias is a scammer
A member who calls himself Gst18co99 and was trying to sell 2 Focal Utopia subwoofers under the advert: FS: (2) Focal Utopia Be 21 WX 8" Subs 500 Watts is a scammer.
I communicated AT LENGTH with him as I am in the UK, and having received Loads of assurances in October / November 2007,, paid him over $1100. I have the proof of payment. I never received the goods. He no longer communicates. His name is given as Tim Worley from Littleton Colorado. I have his full address and phone number, but any attempts to communicate are fruitless. I am now following up a claim through the US small claims court to get this guy to repay me. If anyone else has any comments about the weasel, I would be interested to see them here. Thank you.

The cell phone # Tim Worley was using is no longer in service.
A reverse lookup of the address he used shows that a person named CM Wilkins has lived there since 2007 (at least).
She does know Tim Worley but claims to have no current contact info.
Says he is still in the Denver area but can't/won't provide further information.
Tim Worley is known to the folks at P.I.R. (a local rotary specialist shop only a mile from his listed address)...he was on a "cash only" basis with them due to past payment difficulties. They performed a compression check on the black 3rd gen he was selling concurrent with the sale of the subs and haven't seen him since mid-October.
He used the same address there as listed in his classifieds here on the forum.
I've exhausted the easy and obvious methods of finding this person but, having no professional experience in this sort of thing, don't know where to go from here.
