Hi Guys & Gals,

I believe at this point I have been scammed. I ordered a custom built engine,fuel tank, fuel rail, clutch pedal,brake pedal, throttle pedal, custom differential mount, custom engine mounts from the member GUREW back in MAY and he told me on July 10 he would be leaving california and heading to St. Louis to sell some tools off and see his family then he was going to come and drop off all my stuff in chicago. Well after July 11 Darin or "Gurew" will not call me back!!! Mind you this guy has $3200.00 of my money plus I sent him a timing cover, oil pan and LIM because he couldn't find any to finish my engine. You might ask why i trusted him with that money well its because I ordered other items from him and did recieve the parts so I figured he was no BS. After finding out info about him on here I reliezed I was thinking with the motorhead portion of my brain and not my actual brain. If anyone could help me find this guy it would be much appreciated. If you have his GF/Fiancee's number by chance maybe I could contact her. I read another post where someone said her name was Ashli im not sure if thats correct or not just let me know. If anyone knows his address in Imperial or St Louis Missouri It would be much appreciated too.

sorry to inform you bro, but youre never going to see your money or parts again. he has been mia for close to 3-4 months, is known on other forums, AND a few shops to be a scammer....
best you can do is follow the link glen posted and file an internet fraud claim

On June 15 2011 he texted me letting me know he was working part time for Schaffer Off-Road doing some welding and tube bending with them (He was in cali because his GF/Fiancee was there for some internship & schooling for her medical degree)

On July 10th he said he was on his way toward chicago but first he was going to stop in St.Louis Missouri to sell his tool box or tools to someone and then he would be headed to Kentucky to see his mom & brother.

Heh, that's what my guess would have been. I have a buddy who's 6'7" and he's around 180 and rail thin. I couldn't imagine someone 7'2" and 160lbs, probably not possible.
