Has anyone had success getting refunds from this guy? He owes me $50 for an engine stand adapter he never came through on. Just as early as last night I went to his website thesarx.com and it was up. I went to it today with the intentions of calling the number and now the site is suspended.

Does anyone know his first name? I at one time had his cell phone number and think I've still got it in my phone...but it now shows up on whitepages.com as a St. Louis number not an Arizona number.

 

He pretty much abandoned the group buy he was running after everyone had paid, no product was delivered.

First name is darrin(spelling) i believe.

 

Darren Gurew.. Girlfriend Ashli Mayes. He had a facebook page but it looks like he cancelled it. He got my money and about 10 other peoples money from the fuel rail group buy and ran away like a little bitch.

Last I heard he closed whatever shop he had in Phoenix and moved to California. In the meantime he ripped people off on this forum for thousands.

I was aware he scammed ALOT of people out of ALOT of money. So we have some updated info about him. Has anyone made Rx7roller aware of this stuff? Can we go after him now that he is in Cali but committed the crimes in AZ?

well, all the payments went through his girlfriends paypal, and he said where she is working at now, I imagine the company would not take kindly to that conduct, although it probably isnt the best idea at this point.

All we need is an address and turn it over to the police....even a work address. If she allowed him to use her identity to scam people she is still liable. She's is still an active participant in theft.

Getting an address is what saved me from getting scammed a few years ago. Guy took our money and never sent the parts. He didn't show any sign of making it right until a kind soul PM'd me his address. Said that he had bought a part from him in person at his home. Once we had an address Rx7roller contacted local police...he all the sudden reappears with a great many apologies and either sends the parts or refund.

I sent rx7roller02 a PM. At least from what the other threads said he was collecting Paypal records from everyone that sent money and got no parts. Hopefully this thread will re-energize things and get some more movement.

I think from here on out we need to be careful what we put in threads. We don't want him and her knowing and being warned ahead of time.

 

How did you find out that he was posting under cobwebs? I've been following this saga since I was thinking about buying some of his rails.

If this is the case, I bet a company like that would not tolerate her being involved with this guys criminal activities.

ok, so back on point. apparently darin is working at this offroad shop in the oakland area. what everyone needs to do at this point is email the shop, and tell him about darin, how hes a criminal and at least save that shop from a nightmare that darin will begin.
maybe some people who actually got screwed by him could chime in and help find his exact whereabouts and try to get police action involved?
