Bad transaction with myturbo88

I started a WTB thread for an A/C condenser here:
https://www.rx7club.com/canadian-sale-wanted-classifieds-120/s4-sanden-c-condenser-961120/

myturbo88 responded saying he had one for sale for $85 shipped. I expressed my concerns regarding dealing with a member who is located outside of the country with regards to shipping methods (anybody but USPS shows up with an extra bill for "brokerage" which can be 50% of the value of the item or more) and he agreed to ship the condenser via USPS. After receiving payment the communication dropped off and it took him over 9 days to ship my condenser, which only happened after me repeatedly asking him, and after those 9 days I found out he shipped it UPS, not USPS, which means when it shows up I am going to have to pay another $30 to get the condenser I have already paid him for.

After this deal started to go wrong I started searching around here and found 3 other threads where the same member has been engaged in less than upstanding behavior and although I am already too far in this deal to change my course of action I was hoping I could perhaps help warn other members that Jamal is up to the same old stuff again.

Here are the links to the other threads:

And here is a message from his public profile dated January 18, 2011

How about 85 shippd?

The problem with shipping from the US is that many carriers charge unexpected brokerage fees that crank the price up $10-$100 when it gets here. My other concern is that it may get damaged in transit. If you would be willing to ship it via USPS to avoid the brokerage charges and insure it for a proper value so that you would be able to refund me should they damage it and provide a tracking number then that would be perfectly fine with me. I have no idea what would be required for packaging to protect it from damage as I have never shipped a condenser before.

Before we go too far though, would you be able to snap some pictures of it for me? Of particular interest are where the lines connect. My car has an aftermarket condenser on it right now, there are the lines which are obviously original, they then attach to some short 6-10" lines which then attach to the inlet/outlet of the condenser itself. I just want to make sure yours attaches in a similar way

Also, I want to know, this was removed from a filled (non-leaking) A/C system, correct?

Thanks,
-Chris

UPS?! You agreed to ship it USPS earlier:
**I quoted some above PMs here in their entirety, I have removed them since they are posted above**
I explained that any carrier with the sole exception of USPS will charge additional brokerage fees, so I required it shipped USPS, and you agreed. Why would you ship it UPS?

I have received the condenser. Fortunately there was no brokerage fees due on receipt so I have to give myturbo88 a little bit of credit there, but the packaging was appalling, and the condenser had obvious physical damage before packaging, and was then further damaged during shipping. Here is a link to a gallery showing the packaging and condition of the condenser after unpackaging:

I will be absolutely stunned if this condenser holds pressure. I will try to fit it before the end of the weekend for testing.
