Sigh. I guess it was too good to be true. He was supposed to remit a whole $50 to me to compensate using my wheels instead of shipping them. When I questioned him about it when he didn't, he said he "forgot all about it" but he would put money in his account and send it. Didn't happen. I messaged him and he said he had to wait until his next paycheck came. He was supposed to send the money last night or this morning per his words. Didn't happen. I just texted him and now he's saying it'll be tomorrow.

He made a comment concerning a whole $50 breaking me. Not the point. The point is, not one thing he has promised has come about on time. Eddie, if $50 isn't that big of a deal, just send it. Christ, man... how can you have so many people supporting you when you can't even keep your word?

So I was supposed to let you bull **** go unanswered? Sorry if I don't play that way. Send me the $50. The part where I'll let go is when I decide to buy my roof wing from Shine instead of you since they understand how transactions are supposed to work.

Whatever your issue is, you had better find a way to check yourself. It was you and you alone who said you would compensate him for using the rims after you lied to him continually. From start to finish you have been dishonest on this sale. And know this--whether you think you have enough business or not, you gave your reputation a rather large black eye on this sale. Do not think for even a second that the way you handle your business does not come back on you down the road.

Funny, your business is doing "so well" and so many people are buying from you, yet it is apparently a struggle for you to drop $50 in your paypal.....

So, you told him you would pay him when you got paid, so are you telling me here and now that he is lying about the text message he just quoted? You could really use an education about how you should treat paying customers....

Well Reese knows that the paypal account is under another person's name (my roommate) and I dont see him everyday. I got paid Wed at 6 pm...didnt deposit my check til yesterday after 5 pm and did not see my roommate. I told Reese this but still he runs to tell the forum about it rather than just deal with my texts directly. Other members have said it is hard to get a hold of me at times or take a little bit to return calls or texts. I'm doing what I can.

Money is no the issue...its time. I wish I had 30 hrs in a day to do what I need.

Tell you what then--since you are so busy that you cannot handle a $50 refund when you promised it to be done, and the time you promise to do it has kept changing, then you dont have time to sell any new parts on this forum either. You sure werent too busy to list your XXR rims for sale.....were ya? And its a shame, I like those and if not for the way you have handled this whole sale, I would have happily paid you to ship them out to me. I need rims for two different cars and these would have looked way cool on my black one. But no thanks, I think I will look for a seller I can trust. The problem is not the amount of time in a day, its the fact that you keep making promises to people and then you overbook yourself--see that, you cause this YOURSELF--and your customers should not have to pay the price for your sloppy time management.

If I see one more FS ad from you before he gets his money, youre gonna be sent packing. Come to think of it, you did just put yourself in for a new vented hood scoop....where do you get off looking to spend money on parts when you still havent paid this guy back??

Uhhh I said that i told him I hadn't done it and that i would today...why is that so hard to understand? He wanted communication and it was there. It would be bad if I totally ignored him but I told him I had not sent it...I told him that I didnt get to send it and that I would today (3/5) I didnt need him to text bomb my cell...

Uh being at work on the computer and going to deposit funds are 2 totally different things. I buy/ sell online while I'm at work....I dont get to leave my office for 11 hrs every single day. Is that hard to understand? Why wouldnt I post my XXR wheels while at work? You have the choice on whether or not to buy them. Its pretty stupid that you'd think i'd rip off a mod but anyway they are there if you want them...

I can put myself on any list I want....the rules say no buying or selling if there are any open cases. I simply put myself on a list for future purchases so I broke no such rule.


Anyway, money was sent and should be in his account. I texted him to check and verify.


This was all a courtesy from be. I dint have to offer him jack **** for it but wanting to make up for my mistakes I offered him compensation. he would have easily been just as happy with the wheels being in his possession without me offering anything. But I offer something as a consolation and I get another dumbass thread? Whatever...done deal.

How does my attitude suck? I'm simply standing up for myself as any individual would. I just hate being or having someone attempt to "corner" me...I dont have a messed up track record. I had an issue with OP and settled it...we had an agreement off the forums and I just havent had a chance to pay him BUT i did keep in touch as everyone was originally asking me to do so. Its not fair that if I dont do something that very second, which was out of my own good faith, that I get harassed about it.

Like I said, it has been settled and he has not replied which is only letting this thing go further...or should I expect an immediate response??? I'm sure he is busy too...

Eddie, I wouldn't have wanted you to send money in an envelope for two reasons... First, you would have had to actually go to the post office, which would have taken another week, or you would have given it to your girlfriend to drop off, and THAT wouldn't have worked out, either. Secondly, what would happen if it didn't show up? Oh wow... out of luck.

As for you staying in touch with me? For the most part, you stayed in touch with me AFTER I sent you messages or PMs inquiring about the status of everything. That's not being proactive. That's a lame attempt at damage control.

As for all of your protestations and wheedling, you put yourself in this position. Not me. Not the mods. Not your adoring public. Y O U. You want to be seen as such an amazing guy since you offered to compensate for your own **** up. Yeah, you're a saint.

Interestingly enough, shortly after rxroller made his first posts in here, I received a text message from Eddie letting me know that the payment had been made. I'm happy that you sent it, but PLEASE don't try to make it seem like it was completely of your own accord.

I WAS happy when the wheels finally showed up, other than the fact that you did an absolute **** job of packaging them. I am amazed that they didn't get more than a few minor scuffs where the thin cardboard got ripped.

I mostly enjoy the fact that you are acting so indignant about MY reactions about all of this that YOU don't want to deal with me. Priceless.

To everyone else... this sideshow has now come to a close. Eddie finally sent the payment. I have my wheels. He still feels as if he's justified in acting like an innocent party in this.

Mods, this is now at an end. Please close this one down. I sincerely thank you guys for all of your assistance and support.

You clearly had the money and chose not to honor your agreement with that money. For real, dude, you could have dropped that $50 to him all that time ago and still bought most of this stuff! AND YOU CHOSE TO MAKE HIM WAIT.

Second, is time. you said you dont have the time to go and do these things. But in this same thread, you had time to:

cut off the front of a donor car
pull the donor motor/tranny
pull out blown motor

you also added some of the new parts already. You OBVIOUSLY had the time to do this before being hounded to do it, and you CLEARLY had the funds to do it before we had to ride your case to do it. You CHOSE NOT TO, and that is no one's fault but your own.

You got another thread because the OP had to once again hound you to try to get you to do the things you said you would! I dont care that you offered it--the fact is that it became your responsibility to do it, and as I have just shown, you could have had it done weeks ago and chose to let it wait. THIS IS NOT HOW WE DO BUSINESS HERE. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER OR YOU WILL BE OUTTA HERE.
