Thumbs up Good shop in Northern NJ for your FD maintenance

This shop has been working on my dad's R1 for awhile now, here is some the work he accomplished, all perfectly (and with *very* reasonable prices):

Tranny R&R
Fuel Filter change
Switched over shock/springs
4 wheel alignment to the Pettit Racing specs

He is a great alternative to a rotary shop for non-motor specific work. He is timely, keeps the cars indoors, and above all is *honest.*

Here is his info.....ask for Eddy, tell him that Rich with the red RX-7 sent you

EDDY'S DYNAMIC AUTO CENTER
326 US HIGHWAY 46, MOUNTAIN LAKES, NJ 07046
Phone: (973) 664-9664

so basically non rotary work to an rx7 he is capable of doing excellent work on?

besides the normal mechanic work, does he do anything special?

what im really looking for in the future is a place that can bling up my bay.. lol

i mean i will provide the parts but i mean someone that takes apart the whole bay, shines its up with whatever they use, then put it back.. so all the wires, hoses, parts and all are like shiny new.. at least it will match with the blingin parts i will be putting in..

does he do such a thing?

Negative, ghostrider.

He is a mechanic who can be trusted to do maintenance and installs on your FD without screwing anything up or joyriding the car.

I found out about Eddies Auto from another local REX owner about 2yrs ago.... He's friendly, honest, and experienced in general mechanical repairs and simple upgrades. Best of all, he isn't afraid to RTFM!

Since we are on the topic of NJ shops...I may be needing help from you guys in finding a shop in the Central/North Jersey area...my 93 seems to be slowly dying. From what the guy I took it to told me...it seems like a rotor is messed. Bad *** idle when it's sitting there and it seems to have lost some power. When I blip the throttle a bit it'll POP...so I may be needing some help on where to find a good JDM engine source and a place to install...I just bought the car around three four months ago...I was expecting evntually the engine to go, but not so soon...
So if any of you guys out there know of some people you can point me too...I would appreciate it.

Thanx in advance...
IM me if you want... tshotzx9 on aol/aim

Yes, Judge Ito is JRs Rotary. I was just told that he is selling the place though. Not sure how much truth there is to that rumor.

That's cool. I port and build myself, so wasn't an issue for me. Why did he close up?

Doh! I was going to look at having him rebuild my engine! Well, not right away, maybe early next year...

Unhappy

Yeah, one of those people's cars is mine.
He is closing the shop, last I heard, trying to sell it.

Hope he doesn't forget about me before he goes...
