I don't think Japan2LA is a scammer, but he's a shitty buisnessman.

I had a transaction go way south with him many years back (about 2-3, before it started happening more frequently) and no one believed me. I posted a thread in the feedback forum detailing my very negative experience and I was practically run out of town by all the people that rushed to defend him. He actually physically THREATENED me in one PM and still everyone defended him.

It looks like things have only gotten worse recently. I've seen a lot more of these threads lately which doesn't surprise me one bit. Human behavior doesn't exist in isolation so I'm not surprised to see it happening now.

Good luck with your transaction markus, however I think you should ship the engine back to him on good faith. After the exposure that this thread has gotten I doubt he'll simply take your money and run, though it might take him a while to actually get it back to you.

After the VENDOR issue was resolved and I was back on the site, he PMed me and emailed me asking IF my offer was still on the table for the free parts.. I simply said no........ "

I am only going to say one thing about this whole deal with wompa....and that is this:

Pay attention to how your transaction with wompa started off.....he waited three weeks without any news from you about his order. When he contacted you, you told him "sorry, I forgot". This is a concern that I and other moderators have repeatedly brought to your attention, and yet you still have never responded to this problem. It is simply not acceptable for you to keep buyers waiting like that. And one thing I WILL agree on with wompa is that we are starting to see this more and more often. Other than that, as I said before, I do not see anything besides you threatening him in PM that you did wrong. There was a legitimate reason for the second issue regarding him not hearing back from you again, and you resolved the matter as soon as you were able. I also want to note this too--once you told him "I forgot" and promised to have them sent out in 2 days, I dont understand why his order still wasnt shipped. You didnt need to have access to the forum to take his parts to the shipping place and send them out. The only thing that should have been held up there was getting him the tracking info, since you were banned at the time and could not post. But like I said, this has become a more frequent trend that we have tried to discuss with you on more than one occasion.....it needs to improve.

Now, in the interest of trying to get THIS thread resolved, from this point on, NO ONE is to post in this thread except for japan2la, markusparkus, and members of the moderating staff. If anyone else just cannot help themselves, they will be considered for the next RX7Club vacation recipient. There is already an issue going on here that isnt over three years old. Wompa, with respect to you, you got your refund....now, please step back and let this buyer get his.

It was only posted immediately before you felt the need to chime in. If you cannot follow a basic request like this, you shouldnt be posting in here to begin with.

 

I will send the 100% complete longblock with the engine harness, ecu and
oil cooler with the lines. Japan2LA will take 24 hours after receipt to verify that he received the above and then deposit $1590 in my paypal account at the end of that 24 hours.

Barring unforseen circumstances, the engine will depart by Friday, August 6th at the latest.

I'm awaiting the shipping paperwork from Japan2LA.

Just read all 4 pages...wow.

I've dealt with Brian only once for a strut bar and had no problems.

Sucks to see these things happen. I personally have gone through a few and at times it seems as though everyone is right but it all comes down to good communication and just coming to an agreement. Why try to squeeze every last penny and tarnish our name?
